Stravue for AI agents

Competitor research for AI agents. Give your assistant a question and a few competitors. Stravue finds the pages that answer it, captures them full-page on desktop and phone, drafts comments that quote each page, and lays every competitor side by side on one Comparison Slide and one deck you can hand to a person.

Not a screenshot API. The output is the finished comparison: the real pages, at the same scale, with the question as the title.

Runs over stdio. Works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any other MCP client.

Listed on the official MCP registry as com.stravue/mcp.

60-second setup

1. Get an API key. Sign up at stravue.com, open your account page, and create a key. It is shown once, so copy it. Keys look like sk_stravue_live_.... A new account's first 3 pages are free.

2. Add the server to your client.

3. Ask for a comparison. For example:

Compare how Calendly, Cal.com and SavvyCal present their pricing, and give me the comparison slide.

How a comparison works

1. capture once per competitor, each with the same comparison name.
2. get_comparison until ready is true (at least two competitors finished).
3. export_comparison_slide for the one picture, export_comparison_deck for the whole .pptx, or share_comparison for one public link.

Tools

Every response includes a share link when one exists, because the browsable result is what gets handed to a person.

What it will not do

Sign in to sites, pass paywalls or human-verification checks (it reports them honestly instead), click through flows, submit forms, or reach private addresses. A page that produced nothing is absent, never faked.

Pricing

• A new account's first 3 pages are free. The capture response says how many are left.
• After that, captures use your Stravue plan, the same plan as the app: Pro is £29 or $39 a month for 60 captures, Studio and Agency above it. Cancel anytime, and email support@stravue.com within 7 days of paying for a full refund. See stravue.com/pricing.
• When the allowance runs out, the tool returns the price and the billing link. The same key keeps working as soon as the plan is active.
• A capture that produces nothing hands its allowance back.

Limits

• 120 requests per key per 5 minutes → 429. Poll every 15-30 seconds.
• Up to 30 pages per capture.
• Errors always carry the server's own message; nothing is invented.

License

MIT for the code in this repository. The MIT licence does not cover the Stravue name or logo. Both packages are thin clients: every capture, pick, comment and comparison is made by the Stravue service at stravue.com, behind your API key.
