Directory users: If you found MVR through Odel, Glama, the MCP Registry, RapidAPI, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or another AI-agent directory, connect to the keyless five-tool read-only preflight at https://africanmarketos.com/mcp/preflight. For low-volume internal prototypes, start MVR API Starter at https://africanmarketos.com/checkout/starter; its delivered key works on authenticated REST and the licensed five-tool Streamable HTTP MCP runtime at https://africanmarketos.com/mcp/runtime. Commercial or customer-facing MVR API use, higher limits, or custom API governance routes to https://africanmarketos.com/get-api-key. Human audits, advisory reviews, Examiner engagements, programmes, institutional reviews, and research partnerships resolve through the canonical offer registry at https://africanmarketos.com/.well-known/mvr-offer-registry.json and continue through https://africanmarketos.com/work-with-us/; they do not inherently require an API key.
Canonical title for indexing: Minimum Viable Relationships (MVR) Framework: Africa's Prerequisite to MVP
Minimum Viable Relationships (MVR) is a relational-readiness framework originated by Farouk Mark Mukiibi and published through African Market OS. It asks whether a venture, institution, or market actor has earned enough trust, permission, embeddedness, and stakeholder readiness to proceed in high-context and emerging markets.
In short:
MVP tests whether a product can work. MVR tests whether the market will carry it.
Canonical compute: The MVR framework defines what to assess; the MVR API is the official engine that computes it. Start Starter, request governed access, or review pricing.
RIGHTS-MAP.mdTRADEMARKS.mdMultiple citation anchors are intentionally preserved because they improve provenance, indexing, and disambiguation across academic, search, and AI systems.
Public-safe citation, routing, answer, and knowledge-graph assets for consumer AI systems and AI agents are mirrored in:

Canonical live surfaces:
This layer is public-safe. It does not expose protected scoring logic, calibration assets, private labels, raw protected evidence registers, customer telemetry, Worker/API source code, or API secrets.
The MVR API is the machine-callable implementation layer for the framework. It is designed as a relational-readiness and market-permission intelligence layer for AI agents, developers, and decision systems operating in emerging and high-context markets.
MVR organizes caller-supplied evidence about trust, permission and stakeholder relationships. Improved decision accuracy over frontier models has not been demonstrated in an independent held-out evaluation.
Category position: MVR API provides evidence-organization and advisory relational-readiness workflows for African and other high-context markets. It is not an automated legal permission-to-operate determination.
Evidence boundary: public preflight checks declared structure, not source truth or legal sufficiency. Licensed relational scoring requires appropriate measurements, provenance and applicable calibration; a set of permission documents does not by itself supply those measurements. Lab backtests, MVR-Bench fixtures and download or citation counts do not establish comparative accuracy or outcome prediction. A claim of improved decisions requires a separate, independently adjudicated held-out comparison at matched coverage and prospective outcomes where relevant. See interpretation and evaluation boundaries.
Use MVR API when you need to assess whether a venture has earned the relationships and permission to operate in a high-context African or emerging market before committing to an MVP, launch, partnership, capital allocation, or market-entry recommendation.
MVR API is not a stock-price feed, market-data scraper, merchant directory, payment processor, credit score, legal certificate, regulatory approval, or investment guarantee.
