One-click editor setup isn’t available for this listing yet — we don’t have a confirmed install command, and we’d rather show nothing than point your editor at the wrong package or host. Follow the project’s own setup instructions, linked above.

The workopia/workopia-mcp MCP server exposes Workopia career tools to MCP-compatible clients. It supports searching live vacancies across more than 90 countries, retrieving details for an individual role, adapting a resume to a job description, drafting a role-specific cover letter, and opening the user's Workopia dashboard.
Job searches draw from employer career pages and ATS sources including Lever, Greenhouse, and Workday. A job result can be saved to the user's account, and the dashboard can show saved, tailored, and applied jobs along with the latest resume. These account-oriented actions are associated with the authenticated Workopia profile.
Resume tailoring and cover-letter generation use the AI model supplied by the connected client. Workopia does not host the LLM or charge for those AI operations according to the README.
The service is hosted rather than run locally from the repository. MCP clients connect over Streamable HTTP to https://workopia.io/api/mcp-jobs. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code with PKCE and Dynamic Client Registration. A compatible client starts the authorization flow in a browser, where the user signs in to Workopia.
Sign-in can use an email code, Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub. If the verified email does not already have a Workopia profile, the service creates a minimal one. The client stores and refreshes the OAuth token, so credentials do not need to be pasted into configuration files or repository issues. Reusing the same verified email in another supported client connects activity to the same Workopia profile.
The workopia/workopia-mcp MCP server requires a free Workopia sign-in but does not require an API key. For Claude Desktop, add a server entry with the Streamable HTTP URL:
Cursor can use the same endpoint in .cursor/mcp.json, with the server URL under the mcpServers object. Claude Code can install the published plugin through its marketplace commands, then complete the Workopia OAuth flow on first use. The README also lists support for Windsurf and other MCP clients. ChatGPT users can search for Workopia in the ChatGPT App Store.
job_tool searches millions of live jobs and can save a selected job to the user's account.job_detail_tool retrieves available role information such as salary, requirements, skills, and company details.tailor_resume_tool adapts a resume to a specific job description using the connected AI client.cover_letter_tool drafts a cover letter for a particular role.dashboard_tool opens the user's Workopia dashboard with saved, tailored, and applied jobs plus the latest resume. All tools require a free Workopia account and OAuth authorization, including search and job-detail operations. The service is not described as a local MCP process; its documented connection is the hosted HTTP endpoint. Free access is stated to be available at launch, while higher quotas or custom arrangements may be available by contacting Workopia.
Authenticated actions may be recorded against the Workopia profile so history and dashboard features work across supported clients. The README says conversation transcripts are not collected by this MCP server, and activity records do not include OAuth tokens or raw resume text. Resume material needed for a requested operation is handled under Workopia's privacy policy.
The repository material does not state an open-source license. Do not place Workopia passwords, email codes, OAuth tokens, or resume content in the repository or in GitHub issues.
