wi_webinarPlan, write and set up a webinar from a chat: topic, title, invitation emails, reminders, registration page, live room, evergreen funnel. Also answers product questions. Selects the step with `was`.
wi_webinar_deleteDelete or replace something on the connected WordPress site. Irreversible.
The WebinarIgnition MCP server connects an AI assistant with WebinarIgnition and WordPress. It supports two operating modes. Without a WordPress connection, an assistant can develop a webinar topic, title, invitation copy, reminders, registration-page content, and an evergreen funnel plan. With a connected WordPress site running WebinarIgnition, those plans can be used to create and manage the actual webinar setup.
The connector always provides wi_webinar, a guided entry point for planning, writing, site connection, capability discovery, execution, and product questions. wi_webinar_delete handles deletion or replacement on the connected WordPress site and is irreversible.
The WebinarIgnition MCP server is hosted at https://mcp.webinarignition.com/?src=registry and communicates over Streamable HTTP using MCP and JSON-RPC 2.0. It does not require an account, API key, local installation, or sign-in for the hosted connector.
A WordPress site is linked from the WebinarIgnition plugin through its AI connection flow. The site owner approves the connection in a browser, after which the connector polls for communication rather than requiring inbound access to WordPress. This setup can therefore work with sites behind a firewall or on shared hosting.
When a site is connected, available site tools are read from that site at runtime. The resulting tool list reflects the installed version. Changes are confirmed before execution, and tool activity is snapshotted and audited. Read-only tools do not modify the site; write and destructive operations are labelled separately.
Add the hosted URL to an MCP-capable client’s custom MCP or connector settings. In Claude, the documented path is Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, followed by pasting the endpoint and saving. Start a new chat after configuration.
To manage a real WordPress webinar, install and configure WebinarIgnition on the target site, then open the plugin’s AI connection screen and approve the generated browser link. The connector-only mode does not require WordPress.
After connection, the site can expose 71 tools across 11 areas. These include:
The site tool set contains 28 read-only tools, 35 tools that create or change data, and 8 tools that delete or reset data. Control-scope actions require explicit confirmation.
The public repository is a source mirror of the hosted service, not the endpoint itself. The mirror excludes the internal live-pricing reader and product knowledge service; the hosted endpoint is the supported way to use the connector.
The delete connector and site-level delete or reset operations are irreversible. WordPress-specific capabilities are unavailable until a compatible site is connected. The actual site tool list may vary with the installed WebinarIgnition version.
