What seerxo MCP server does

The seerxo MCP server helps Etsy sellers create and improve product listings from an AI-assisted workflow. Given a product description and optional category, it can generate an Etsy-ready title, two alternative title variants, a hook-first description, exactly 13 tags, Etsy attributes, target keywords, a shipping tip, and a cross-sell suggestion.

Generated content follows the constraints described in the project documentation: titles are limited to 140 characters, tags are lowercase and deduplicated, and each tag is limited to 20 characters. The output is intended to be copied into an Etsy listing rather than published directly through Etsy.

The server is relevant to the E-Commerce category because its main use case is preparing product metadata and copy for Etsy sellers. It also covers existing listings: analysis returns an SEO score and weak points, optimization provides a guided rewrite with before-and-after scoring, and keyword research returns ranked Etsy autosuggest keywords.

How it works

The seerxo MCP server is distributed through the seerxo npm package. Installing the package provides the seerxo-mcp executable used by Claude Desktop. The same Seerxo account and credit pool can be used across the CLI, MCP connection, Claude Code skill, and web application.

Authentication is handled through Seerxo. Running seerxo login opens Google sign-in in a browser and saves credentials locally. An existing key can instead be supplied with seerxo configure, or through the SEERXO_EMAIL and SEERXO_API_KEY environment variables. The MCP process reads saved credentials from ~/.seerxo-mcp/config.json unless those variables override them.

It generates and evaluates listing content using the supplied product information. An Etsy listing URL can provide a product name only when the URL includes a title slug; a bare URL without a slug cannot be read.

Setup and configuration

Install the npm package globally and authenticate:

Add the following entry to Claude Desktop's configuration file:

The configuration path is ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json on macOS and %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json on Windows. Restart Claude Desktop after saving the configuration, then request an Etsy listing in conversation.

The stored credential file is plaintext. The README recommends restricting access to the directory and file on single-user machines with chmod 700 ~/.seerxo-mcp and chmod 600 ~/.seerxo-mcp/config.json.

Tools and capabilities

The seerxo MCP server supports the following listing workflows:

• Generate listing content from a product description and optional category.
• Analyze a title, tag set, and description for an SEO score and weak points.
• Optimize existing listing content with a guided rewrite and score comparison.
• Find ranked Etsy autosuggest keywords from a seed phrase.
• Return machine-readable output when using the CLI's --json option.
• Work through Claude Desktop or the Claude Code skill in addition to the CLI.

The Claude Code integration can be installed for all projects or only the current repository with seerxo skill add or seerxo skill add --project. The repository also documents running the plugin directly from a clone.

Limitations and notes

The free plan includes unlimited listing audits but limits AI actions such as generation, optimization, and keyword research to five per month. The premium plan provides up to 300 AI actions per month. These limits apply across the available channels.

The npm package name is seerxo; the older seerxo-mcp package is deprecated. The seerxo-mcp name remains the binary shipped inside the current package. The project is licensed under MIT.

The documentation explicitly provides setup instructions for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. It does not document a direct Etsy publishing operation, Etsy API access, or a Cursor-specific configuration.
