A side-by-side look at the PostgreSQL Performance (read Only) and Influxdb3 MCP Server MCP servers: transport, auth, tools, quality signals, and the config to install either one in Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code.
Verdict: choose PostgreSQL Performance (read Only) for databases work over a hosted endpoint; choose Influxdb3 MCP Server for databases as a local process. You can also run both side by side in one mcpServers block.
INFLUX_MCP_TOOL_PROFILE.load_database_context, get_help, write_line_protocol.Rows where the two servers differ are marked.
