What Immopix MCP server does

The Immopix MCP server gives an assistant access to properties and photos already stored in an Immopix account. Immopix is an AI photo service for real estate listings, with editing options that can replace a grey sky, remove clutter, furnish an empty room, or change the apparent season of a garden image.

The connector supports account-level property management, photo inspection, enhancement jobs, and credit checks. It is intended for estate agents in Germany and, in English, elsewhere in Europe. The repository contains metadata and client examples; the hosted MCP implementation is closed source.

How it works

The remote endpoint is https://immopix.ai/mcp. An assistant connects over MCP and authenticates the user’s Immopix account with OAuth 2.1. The initial authorization grants read access. Calling a write operation requests a step-up authorization for read and write access, so changes and paid enhancements are not silently performed under a read-only grant.

Enhancements operate only on photos that are already in the account. The connector does not accept image URLs or base64 image data. Enhancement calls return a job handle, which the assistant can use with immopix_check_job until a result link is available. Result links are short-lived, keeping image content out of the model context.

Setup and configuration

Add a custom MCP connector using the exact endpoint https://immopix.ai/mcp, then sign in through the browser window and approve the requested permissions. In Claude Code, the documented command is:

Run /mcp afterward to finish authentication. The OAuth flow uses PKCE with S256 and public clients; no API key or client secret is required. Access tokens last one hour, while rotating refresh tokens last 30 days. The endpoint requires a bearer token on POST requests, and the trailing-slash URL is not a valid replacement.

Tools and capabilities

The Immopix MCP server publishes thirteen tools:

• List, search, read, create, rename, and delete properties.
• List property photos, inspect a photo and its revisions, or delete a photo.
• Start an enhancement and check its processing status and result link.
• Read available presets, room types, furniture styles, and the next enhancement cost.
• Read the account’s remaining credits.
• Generate a browser upload link for a property.

New photos must be uploaded in the browser using the link from immopix_get_upload_link; the assistant can then list the property’s photos again. Read operations and searches do not consume credits. Enhancements use the same credit pricing as the Immopix web interface, and the assistant is instructed to state the price and balance and request confirmation before spending credits. Reusing the same operation_id with identical arguments replays a create or enhancement result without charging twice.

Limitations and notes

The connector does not upload files directly, transport image bytes, or expose the hosted server’s source code. A valid Immopix account and browser authorization are required. Enhancement results are asynchronous and must be polled. Deleting a property also deletes its photos, while deleting a photo removes its revisions. The repository includes distribution metadata, examples, change history, security information, and privacy links, but no server configuration or credentials.
