What DrugAlpha 创新药投研 does
DrugAlpha 创新药投研 MCP server exposes DrugAlpha’s published and covered research data to connected AI assistants. The service is read-only and requires authorization with a DrugAlpha account. It is intended for research workflows involving companies, drug assets, clinical development, market competition, valuation, and selected commercial data.
Queries can identify companies and drugs by names, stock codes, development codes, or aliases. The service can also return future catalysts with expected timing and sources, company or asset pipeline records, valuation outputs, predicted peak sales, and industry PS statistics for A- and H-share innovative drug companies.
The data scope extends to target- and indication-based competitive landscapes, treatment guidelines, clinical study details, epidemiology, endpoint explanations, drug labels, prices, company announcements, treatment-cost calculation frameworks, sector valuation scenarios, sector holdings, and published overseas biopharma morning reports. Overseas sales queries can filter or compare drugs by company, drug name, brand, target, region, and year.
How it works
The server is hosted at https://drugalpha.com/mcp and is accessed as a remote HTTP MCP service. After a client connection is created, the user completes DrugAlpha authorization in a browser. The assistant then sends natural-language requests to the available tools and uses returned data for analysis.
Competitive analysis by indication and target uses the same query capability. Clinical comparisons are performed by the connected AI after it retrieves study information; they are not presented as a separate comparison database. Results retain available dates, units, currencies, source details, and data gaps. An empty result means the requested item may not be covered or published, not that no such asset or event exists.
Setup and configuration
Add the remote URL through a client’s MCP connection interface, then complete browser authorization. For clients accepting JSON configuration, the relevant entry is an HTTP server named drugalpha with a 60-second timeout and the URL above. Existing MCP entries should be preserved when adding it.
Codex users can add the repository’s plugin marketplace and install the DrugAlpha 创新药投研 plugin, then use its authentication flow. WorkBuddy 5.7.7 supports manual HTTP configuration through its MCP service manager. Other clients can connect if they support remote HTTP MCP and browser-based authorization. No DrugAlpha server installation or platform AI API key is required.
Tools and capabilities
The DrugAlpha 创新药投研 MCP server supports queries for:
- Companies, drugs, aliases, pipelines, targets, indications, stages, and trial identifiers.
- Catalysts, clinical evidence, guidelines, epidemiology, endpoint definitions, and drug labels.
- Company valuation, predicted peak sales, industry PS history, sector valuation, and holdings.
- Target or indication competition, company research materials, drug prices, and treatment-cost frameworks.
- Overseas drug sales by year, region, company, product, brand, or target, including multi-drug comparisons.
- Selected Excel retrieval for sector valuation, holdings, industry PS trends, and company PS comparisons when the account and current tool permissions allow it.
Limitations and notes
Coverage depends on DrugAlpha’s published data, platform permissions, sources, dates, and available regions or years. Pipeline records are not necessarily distinct drugs, and projected catalysts are not confirmed schedules. Personal saved company valuations may take precedence over platform estimates.
The service does not currently provide full DCF generation, platform-generated AI output, business-data writing, or an MCP download tool for overseas-sales Excel files. Retrieved materials should not be treated as a confirmed personal treatment plan. Bulk crawling, database copying, mirroring, and resale are prohibited and may lead to rate limiting or suspended access.
