Overview

daiso-mcp connects AI agents to Korean and Japanese retail, convenience-store, cinema, place-search, and fuel-price services. Its public Streamable HTTP endpoint works without installation or an API key, while an optional CLI supports terminal-based queries. Use it for product and store lookups, stock checks, nearby searches, fuel-price comparisons, and cinema schedules. Web agents can use the read-only `/browse/` HTML routes when MCP connections are unavailable.

Use cases

  • Search Daiso products and nearby stores
  • Check convenience-store inventory after identifying a product
  • Find nearby stations with lower fuel prices
  • Look up cinema schedules and remaining seats
  • Compare product prices across supported sellers

Key features

  • Public Streamable HTTP endpoint
  • No installation or API key for remote use
  • Product, store, and stock searches
  • Cinema schedules and remaining-seat queries
  • Nearby-place and fuel-price searches
  • Optional npx CLI and web-readable routes

How Daiso MCP works

What daiso-mcp does

daiso-mcp exposes everyday commerce and local-information searches through MCP. Supported sources include Korean Daiso and Olive Young, GS25, CU, Seven Eleven, and Emart24; Japanese Daiso online products and stores; CGV, Megabox, Lotte Cinema, and Dtryx; Naver local search; and Opinet fuel prices.

Retail queries cover products, stores, and stock for the Korean services listed above. Cinema services provide schedules and remaining-seat information. Naver supports nearby-place searches, while Opinet supplies fuel-price information. Japanese Daiso supports online products, yen prices, and store searches, but not stock checks at Japanese stores.

How it works

The hosted MCP endpoint is available at https://mcp.aka.page using Streamable HTTP with no authentication. Add that URL to an AI application that supports remote MCP, enable its tools, and ask for a lookup in natural language. The server uses ten fixed integration tools, with the target service and requested operation selected through parameters such as service and operation. Existing service-specific tool names remain as deprecated aliases.

A typical product request uses the search_products operation with a service such as daiso, a search query, and a page-size limit. Stock checks should follow product search so the requested item can be identified accurately. Results represent a point-in-time lookup: stock and remaining seats can change after the response is returned.

Agents without MCP support can use the server's read-only /browse/ routes through a browser or HTTP fetcher. Product, store, stock, and follow-up lookups should use that path; the routes return HTML and encode parameters in the URL path rather than requiring query-string formatting.

Setup and configuration

For remote use, enter the following connection details in the client:

  • URL: https://mcp.aka.page
  • Transport: HTTP or Streamable HTTP
  • Authentication: none

No package installation or API-key configuration is required for the hosted endpoint. An optional Node.js command-line interface can be run with npx, for example npx daiso products 수납박스 --json. A separate DAISO CLI Skill is available through clawhub install daiso-cli, but neither the CLI nor the Skill is needed for remote MCP access.

Tools and capabilities

  • Search products across supported retail services.
  • Find stores and nearby places.
  • Check product availability at stores.
  • Query cinema schedules and remaining seats.
  • Compare fuel prices and retailer price candidates.
  • Search Japanese Daiso online products, prices, and stores.

The service list includes Korean Daiso, Olive Young, GS25, CU, Seven Eleven, Emart24, four cinema providers, Naver local search, and Opinet. The exact operation depends on the selected service.

Limitations and notes

Availability and seat counts may change between retrieval and use. An unconfirmed result should not be treated as zero stock or a sold-out item. Japanese Daiso store inventory is outside the supported scope. If a request fails, the published service-status page can help distinguish an operational issue from a query result.

Frequently Asked Questions about Daiso MCP

daiso-mcp is an MCP server that connects AI agents to Daiso, convenience stores, cinemas, Naver local search, and Opinet. Its main tools search products and stores, check stock, retrieve cinema schedules and remaining seats, find nearby places, and query fuel prices through a public Streamable HTTP endpoint without authentication.

You do not need to install it for remote MCP use. Add `https://mcp.aka.page` to an AI client as a Streamable HTTP server with no authentication. An optional Node.js CLI is available through `npx daiso products <query> --json`.

No, the hosted remote endpoint requires no API key or authentication. Connect to `https://mcp.aka.page` over HTTP or Streamable HTTP and enable its tools in the client.

No, Japanese Daiso inventory is not supported. Japanese Daiso queries cover online products, yen prices, and store searches, while store-level stock checks are outside the supported scope.

Use the read-only `/browse/` routes with a browser or HTTP fetcher. These routes return HTML for product, store, stock, and follow-up lookups, using path-based parameters instead of query strings.
