What the Conqueror MCP server does

The Conqueror MCP server supplies live data for SEO workflows run by Claude Code, Codex, and other agents that support SKILL.md files. The repository contains skills rather than executable application code. Each skill gives an agent a defined workflow, while the connected Conqueror service provides the underlying data.

Available workflows cover several stages of SEO work:

• Set up a local SEO workspace with site scope, goals, positioning, and Search Console intake.
• Turn seed topics into keyword opportunities scored by volume, difficulty, intent, and SERP conditions.
• Cluster keywords by page, identify new or existing page targets, and flag possible cannibalization.
• Analyze a market or a single competitor, including ranking keywords, content themes, backlinks, and weaknesses.
• Find link prospects through SERPs and competitor backlinks, identify public contact routes, and draft outreach.
• Rewrite a WordPress page for a target keyword and present the proposed changes as a diff for review.

How it works

Install the selected skills into the agent's skills directory. When you invoke a matching slash command, the agent reads the corresponding Markdown file and follows its instructions using the connected Conqueror MCP capabilities. The workflows are not compiled or executed as software, so their instructions can be inspected directly.

The skills are designed to keep an approval step before changes or external action. The WordPress workflow proposes a diff rather than publishing immediately, and the material states that the agent does not publish, apply changes, or spend on the user's behalf without asking.

Setup and configuration

Connect the remote MCP endpoint before installing the skills:

In Claude Desktop or Claude Code, add it as a remote MCP server and sign in when prompted. A Conqueror account is required. The repository does not describe environment variables or a local server process.

Install the skills interactively with npx skills add Shipper-dot-now/conqueror-skills, or install all of them with --skill '*'. The installer can target one agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, with the --agent option. Manual installation is also supported by cloning the repository and copying its skill folders into ~/.claude/skills or ~/.codex/skills.

Tools and capabilities

The Conqueror MCP server supports workflows for research, planning, competitive analysis, outreach preparation, and WordPress content recommendations. The repository includes setup and coaching skills for users who need help choosing a workflow, as well as specialized skills for keyword research, clustering, competitor analysis, competitive landscapes, and link prospecting.

The WordPress rewrite workflow requires a WordPress connection. Its output is a proposed page diff that the user reviews before applying it in Conqueror.

Limitations and notes

The skills do nothing without a connected Conqueror MCP endpoint. They describe how an agent should work; they do not provide the SEO data independently. The supplied material also does not list individual MCP tool names, document Cursor support, or describe a local deployment option.
