What BopMarket MCP server does

BopMarket MCP server gives an AI assistant access to marketplace workflows for both buyers and sellers. Buyer operations include searching products across five sources, retrieving product details, browsing categories, adding products to a cart, starting checkout, reviewing past orders, and creating price-drop watches. Seller operations cover submitting a product listing and checking whether it has been approved.

Account-related tools let a user create a merchant account, authenticate, and register a buyer or seller bot. Agent registration includes spending limits, allowing the human operator to define boundaries for automated purchasing activity.

How it works

The assistant sends MCP tool calls to the server, which communicates with the BopMarket API. The marketplace aggregates product access from Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, eMAG, and native sellers. Product searches can include price, category, and brand filters, while product details and order tools use identifiers supplied by the marketplace.

Bots may search and browse without the same approval step as purchases. This makes the server appropriate for supervised buying flows rather than unrestricted autonomous spending.

Setup and configuration

The hosted endpoint can be used without installing the repository. Configure an MCP client to reach https://bopmarket.store/mcp/sse, either directly where supported or through mcp-remote. The README provides configurations for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and Cursor.

For local use, clone the repository, install dependencies from requirements.txt, and start server/server.py with Python. The project also describes running a remote SSE deployment with Uvicorn. A Desktop Extension package is available from the repository's Releases page for Claude Desktop.

Optional environment variables can provide preconfigured access:

  • BOPMARKET_URL sets the API base URL and defaults to https://bopmarket.store.
