What amz-vault MCP server does

The amz-vault MCP server gives an MCP client access to connected Amazon seller accounts and advertising profiles. Its data tools cover account reporting, settlement-based profit and loss, Amazon fees, refunds, COGS, advertising spend, inventory, product costs, fulfillment, and selected Brand Analytics metrics.

Profitability results are organized around Amazon settlement data rather than only dashboard estimates. The available P&L tools can show account summaries, period cards, fee classifications, refund details, per-ASIN results, Sponsored Brands attribution, operating expenses, and Multi-Channel Fulfillment totals. Product and inventory tools expose landed costs, estimated fees, FBA inventory states, restock recommendations, and shipment tracking for the US store.

The service is listed in the 🛒 E-Commerce category and is intended for operators who need Amazon data at account, product, ASIN, or advertising levels. Brand-oriented tools include bought-together products, repeat-purchase measures, and search-funnel totals across queries.

How it works

The hosted endpoint is https://www.amz-vault.com/mcp and uses MCP Streamable HTTP. After creating an AMZ Vault account and connecting an Amazon account, the client opens an OAuth 2.1 sign-in and consent flow. Dynamic client registration handles the client connection, so the setup does not require creating or copying an API key.

For data discovery, data_describe lists warehouse datasets, data_freshness reports sync state and date coverage, and data_query supports projections, filters, and date bounds over available datasets. Account tools can list accessible seller connections and advertising profiles. The live documentation at amz-vault.com/docs contains the current parameter reference.

Changes are approval-gated. A requested Amazon change is staged as a reviewable diff and does not reach Amazon until the user confirms it. The supplied material explicitly states that there is no autonomous-write mode.

Setup and configuration

Create an AMZ Vault account at amz-vault.com, connect the Amazon account, and add the hosted MCP endpoint in the client. In Claude, use Settings, Connectors, and Add custom connector, then provide the endpoint. Cursor accepts a Streamable HTTP server with the same URL; Windsurf can use the URL as the serverUrl in its MCP configuration. Claude Code can add it with the HTTP transport command documented by the project.

A live demo is also available using a synthetic seller account and does not require signup. The README describes a 14-day free trial with no card required.

The amz-vault MCP server includes tools for:

Limitations and notes

Shipment tracking is identified as available for the US store only. Some listed account and operational tools are restricted to administrators or super administrators, so they are not general seller functions. Data freshness and backfill status should be checked before relying on a report. This repository is a registry listing for the hosted service; it does not contain software to install or run locally.
