AI Manga & Anime Generator Mangii MCP README

AI Manga & Anime Generator - Mangii MCP (ai.mangii/manga)

Create manga and anime art with an AI manga generator. Type what you imagine — Mangii turns text into panels in a chosen style. No drawing skills needed.

Whether you want a single panel or a multi-panel story, Mangii is built for manga, anime, webtoon, manhwa, and comic-style art from plain language prompts. Describe characters, places, action, and mood — then generate art you can continue as a story or regenerate.

Canonical short + long copy for every directory: LISTING.md.

24 manga and anime art styles

Classic Action, Modern Shonen, Cinematic Anime, Mecha Sci-Fi, American Superhero, Modern Anime, Retro Anime, Pastel, Soft Romance, Magical Girl, Mini Cute, Kawaii Sticker, Urban Drama, Dark Fantasy, Noir Comics, Cyberpunk, Korean Digital, Action Manhwa, Manhua Wuxia, Xianxia, 3D Donghua, Watercolor Anime, Sumi-e Ink, Ligne Claire.

Start a new story in the style you want. After the first panel, that story’s style stays locked so later panels match. Use a new story when you want a different look. Call manga.list_styles for the live API ids.

Build multi-panel manga stories

Go beyond one-off images. Start a story, add panels step by step, and keep characters looking more consistent as the story grows.

Tools: manga.create_story, manga.continue_story, manga.regenerate_panel, manga.list_panels, manga.list_stories, manga.list_styles, manga.get_credits, manga.get_job, manga.buy_credits.

Continue defaults keep Image 1 = first panel (identity) and Image 2 = last distinct panel (scene). Override Image 1 with identity_panel_id or identity_image / reference_image (https URL or data URI). Override Image 2 with continuity_panel_id or continuity_image. Call manga.list_panels for ids (ref_role is identity or scene). If you lost story_id after compaction, call manga.list_stories then continue.

Text to manga

Write any scene in everyday language: a duel under cherry blossoms, a neon city at night, a quiet classroom moment, or a fantasy quest. Add rain, lighting, camera angle, full color, or classic black and white.

Mangii turns rough ideas into clearer scene descriptions before the image is drawn. You stay in control of the story — the model renders the panel.

Authentication (BYOK)

Mangii uses bring-your-own-key billing. Mint an API key in the Mangii Developer Console and pay for credits through Mangii (Stripe). There is no OpenRouter routing and no separate image-model billing.

1. Sign in at https://mangii.ai/console/keys
2. Create an API key (mangii_sk_…)
3. Pass it as a Bearer token on every request

export MANGII_API_KEY="mangii_sk_…"

Clients should send Authorization: Bearer $MANGII_API_KEY.

Credit costs

Credits are consumed when a generation succeeds; failed generations refund. Buy credits at https://mangii.ai/console/billing. Weekly in-app credits do not spend on API or MCP.

Registry metadata

See server.json for the official MCP Registry document (ai.mangii/manga). DNS auth on mangii.ai maps to the reversed-domain namespace ai.mangii/* (not com.mangii/*).
