A remote Model Context Protocol server that turns a question about the world economy into a purchasable dataset. It answers for 20 economies across 2015–2025, from World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0, attributed in every document), and is sold per fetch in USDC on Base using the x402 payment protocol.

Six tools are exposed. The free ones answer immediately; the paid ones return an exact quote rather than an error, because a runtime that cannot see the price cannot decide to pay it.

The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header is base64 JSON carrying the amount, the USDC contract, the network and the receiving address. Sign the transfer (EIP-3009 on Base mainnet, so the buyer needs no ETH), replay the same request with the signature, and the report comes back.

The free tools work with no configuration at all. Paying requires an x402-capable client — any wallet that can sign EIP-3009 USDC transfers on Base works, and there is no ETH gas requirement.

What a report contains

• The year-by-year panel — every economy × every year in the coverage window.
• Per-economy derived analytics — CAGR, fitted trend, momentum, volatility, outlier years.
• Group statistics — mean, median, dispersion, HHI concentration, leader and laggard.
• A data-quality block — requested vs actually published cells, and which years are missing upstream. It tells you what is not there, which is rarer and more useful than the reverse.
• Cross-indicator correlation where the report covers more than one indicator.

The server itself runs at the endpoint above; this repository carries the manifest and the documentation, which is all the registry stores.

Notes

• Prices are re-quoted on every request. Always pay the amount in the 402 you just received rather than a cached one.
• Settlement is verifiable. Every delivered document corresponds to a USDC transfer to 0xba7efeabfab91a6febc8d8088faa29ce95979b34 on Base, and the ledger is public at /purchases.
• Upstream figures may be revised by the World Bank; reports record their generation date.
