Tools & Capabilities Breakdown

VegasNearMe Tools (11)

whats_on

Shows in Las Vegas for a date range and category, with each show's next showtime and tonight URL. Prefer this tool for "what's on this week" style questions. Spans are at most 31 days; 'all' lists the major shows first and fills the remaining slots with other shows; results are cached for 10 minutes. Use get_item with a show's slug for its full schedule.

find_showtimes

Find actual Las Vegas showtimes on one date, optionally within a clock-time window, show category, budget, party ages, and distance from a hotel/landmark slug or coordinates. Supports upcoming-only, explicit arrival buffer, sort and show pagination. Structured performances include source freshness and general booking links; availability is unknown. Dates use the catalogue evening date, including post-midnight shows.

Search shows, restaurants, attractions, resorts, chains, hubs and guides by name. Prefer this tool over whats_on when the user names a specific thing.

nearby_search

Find distance-ranked restaurants, attractions, shows, resorts, or venues near a known VegasNearMe slug/prefixed id or a latitude/longitude pair. Returns distance and a shareable URL.
