What SuperProfile MCP server does
The SuperProfile MCP server exposes creator-store and messaging workflows through the Model Context Protocol. It connects an MCP-compatible assistant to a SuperProfile account, where the assistant can work with digital products, payment pages, online courses, webinars, events, one-to-one sessions, bookings, lead magnets, locked content, and paid Telegram communities.
Messaging features cover Instagram and Facebook Messenger workflows. Supported examples include sending a direct message after a comment on a Reel or post, responding to Stories and Live comments, requesting a follow before sharing a link, capturing email addresses in Kit, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo, and running follow-up messages. The server also provides access to analytics, sales information, and automation runs.
How it works
The hosted endpoint is available at https://mcp.superprofile.bio/mcp and uses Streamable HTTP as its transport. The SuperProfile MCP server is operated by SuperProfile; the repository contains directory and registry metadata rather than an application intended for local execution.
Authentication uses OAuth with dynamic client registration and PKCE. After connecting an assistant, the creator signs in to SuperProfile and chooses which operations the assistant may perform. Preparing a change produces a draft for review instead of publishing it automatically. Editing, publishing, deleting, customer information, and email activation are controlled by separate permissions.
Setup and configuration
There is no local installation or runtime configuration required. Add the remote MCP URL to an MCP-compatible client that supports OAuth, or use one of SuperProfile's client-specific connection guides. The documented guides cover Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Perplexity, Notion, and Muse.
After authorization, access can be reviewed or revoked from the SuperProfile dashboard under Connected agents. Product-only access does not require an Instagram account or Messenger Page.
Tools and capabilities
The SuperProfile MCP server supports tasks such as:
- Drafting a comment-triggered automation for an Instagram Reel or post.
- Handling Story replies and Live comments.
- Adding follow requests before a link is sent.
- Capturing leads through supported email platforms and sending follow-ups.
- Creating or managing products, courses, webinars, events, bookings, lead magnets, locked content, and paid Telegram communities.
- Reading analytics, sales data, and automation run information.
For example, an assistant can prepare a Reel automation that sends a guide when someone comments a chosen keyword, turn videos into a course with modules and a completion certificate, or schedule a ticketed Zoom workshop.
Limitations and notes
The service is remote and hosted by SuperProfile, so this repository does not provide code to run locally. Instagram automations use Meta's official messaging API and the Instagram account connected through Meta login; Meta's messaging rules apply. Publishing and other sensitive actions remain subject to the permissions granted during authorization.
The SuperProfile MCP server is available to SuperProfile creators. A client must support remote MCP connections with OAuth to use the hosted endpoint. Security issues should be reported privately to developer@cosmofeed.com rather than through a public repository report.
