Service status / uptime MCP — "is X down right now?" answered from vendors' own Atlassian Statuspage feeds. Keyless.
Part of Pipeworx — an MCP gateway connecting AI agents to 1476+ live data sources.
Atlassian Statuspage is a de-facto standard: hundreds of vendors expose the same
JSON contract at https://<status-host>/api/v2/status.json. This pack reads that
contract, so it closes a class of question rather than one vendor.
statuspage_check(vendor | status_host, include_components?) — current status for
one vendor: overall indicator, the vendor's own status line, every degraded
component, open incidents with the latest update text, and upcoming maintenance
where published.statuspage_incidents(vendor | status_host, unresolved_only?, limit?, include_all_updates?)
— incident history: title, lifecycle status, impact, start/resolve times,

The curated map holds 190 vendors across AI/model providers, cloud and hosting, databases and observability, developer tools, payments and fintech, communications, and business SaaS.
Every host in the map was verified, not guessed. 206 candidate hosts were probed
live; each survivor had to return a parseable Statuspage v2 payload on
/api/v2/status.json, /api/v2/summary.json and /api/v2/incidents.json.
Candidates that failed were dropped rather than shipped on a hunch — status
hostnames are genuinely unguessable (status.anthropic.com redirects to
status.claude.com; status.cloudflare.com does not resolve at all, the real host
is www.cloudflarestatus.com).
The second wave (67 vendors, taking the map from 123 to 190) came from a coverage
audit against a competing tracker: the bottleneck was never the host pattern, it was
knowing which vendor NAMES to try. Given the names, 68 of 78 resolved on the first
or second guess of the ordinary pattern, and 67 survived the three-endpoint check
(kong was dropped — status.konghq.com answers 418 to a non-browser client).
For anything outside the map, pass status_host: "status.somevendor.com". Every
response says which of the two it used via the source field
(curated_map | caller_supplied_host).
Roughly 43 well-known companies were probed and found to publish status in some
other format — AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Slack, Stripe, GitLab, Heroku, PagerDuty,
Notion, Databricks and others. Asking for one of those returns
reason: 'vendor_not_statuspage' together with the URL a human should open, rather
than nothing. statuspage_list_vendors({include_elsewhere: true}) lists them.
17 hosts in the map serve status.json / summary.json / incidents.json but omit
/api/v2/incidents/unresolved.json (OpenAI is one). The pack falls back to filtering
the incident feed for open incidents, and reports which path it used in
incidents_source.

Add to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.):
tools/list at https://gateway.pipeworx.io/statuspage/mcp returns the tools in the table
above plus the shared Pipeworx meta-tools — ask_pipeworx,
discover_tools, search_within, remember/recall and the rest of the
gateway-wide set. So the tool count you see is larger than this table: a
single-pack endpoint currently lists roughly 30 shared tools alongside the
pack's own. The connection's initialize response states its exact scope, and
is the authoritative answer for a given day.
This is deliberate, not multiplexing by accident. The meta-tools are what let a
scoped connection answer a question this pack does not cover — via
ask_pipeworx, which routes across the whole catalog — without you adding a
second MCP server. There is currently no way to mount a pack endpoint without
them; if the extra schemas cost you more context than the routing is worth,
connect to the full gateway once rather than to several pack endpoints.

Both URLs reach the same gateway and the same 1476+ data sources. The
only difference is which pack's tools are listed directly; ask_pipeworx
reaches all of them from either one.
Instead of calling tools directly, you can ask questions in plain English — this works on the pack endpoint above as well as on the full gateway:
