SiteHealth MCP MCP server provides website health diagnostics through MCP tools. It accepts a website address and can inspect certificate status, DNS configuration, email authentication records, page performance, HTTP reachability, and links discovered on a page. The combined audit returns a score from 0 to 100, a letter grade from A to F, critical issues, warnings, and recommendations.

The checks cover different operational concerns. SSL inspection reports certificate validity, expiry, issuer, protocol, and subject alternative names. How it works

The SiteHealth MCP MCP server performs checks locally with Node.js built-ins rather than calling an external monitoring API. TLS handles certificate inspection, dns/promises performs DNS lookups, and fetch supports web requests and timing measurements. Performance checks measure time to first byte, total load time, page weight, compression, and caching. Uptime uses an HTTP request and records response time, while link checking extracts links from a page and tests for 4xx or 5xx responses.

audit_site combines the six categories into one report. The score weights SSL, performance, and uptime at 20% each; email authentication and links at 15% each; and DNS at 10%. Individual tools are available when a full audit is unnecessary or when a developer needs to investigate one area.

No API keys or environment variables are required. The repository also documents installation through MCPize, which provides managed hosting. After configuring the server, an MCP client can request an audit by supplying a domain such as example.com.
