What SalesBook by MaxedS does
SalesBook by MaxedS gives AI assistants and agents access to a ranked corpus of technology companies selling to enterprises. The coverage includes retail and CPG, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and cross-industry companies.
The data is designed for research where evidence quality matters. Company profiles cover identity, problem, solution, stage, team, and buyer-fit score. Individual fields include a source, date, and confidence level. Profiles are researched from public information, and founders review and correct fields with low confidence.
The service also records public evidence of enterprise commercial activity. Its tombstones are dated and sourced claims graded from T1, representing a contract or rollout, through T4, representing a logo-wall claim. Records normally carry claimed-unverified confidence, while confirmed Fortune 500 records are marked corroborated.
How it works
SalesBook by MaxedS is exposed as a remote MCP server at https://mcp.maxeds.org/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP, so an MCP client connects to the hosted endpoint rather than launching a local process. The server is read-only and does not require authentication.
Available queries include keyword searches across company names, problems, and solutions. Searches can cover all sectors or be restricted to retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education, or horizontal software. Ranking queries return the Top 100 for a sector and period, including each company’s score and the methodology version used.
The methodology tool explains the published scoring weights, tombstone tiers, confidence labels, and related guarantees. Because each ranking identifies its methodology version, an agent can inspect how a result was produced instead of treating the rank as unexplained output.
Setup and configuration
No package installation is needed for clients that support remote MCP servers. Add the endpoint as a Streamable HTTP server using the client’s MCP connection settings. Claude Desktop can add it as a custom connector, and Claude Code can register it with the HTTP transport.
A generic configuration uses the following structure:
{
"mcpServers": {
"salesbook": {
"type": "streamable-http",
"url": "https://mcp.maxeds.org/mcp"
}
}
}
Clients limited to standard input/output can connect through an MCP remote bridge such as npx mcp-remote. No environment variables or credentials are specified for the hosted service.

Limitations and notes
SalesBook by MaxedS relies on public sources, so its records are evidence-backed claims rather than a guarantee that every event or company attribute is independently verified. Tombstones default to claimed-unverified unless the record is marked corroborated. The hosted data and service are provided by MaxedS LLC under the terms published on its website; the MIT license applies to the repository’s listing materials, manifest, README, and logo rather than necessarily to the hosted data.
