What Prometiam Risk Intelligence does

Prometiam Risk Intelligence brings company-registry and risk data into MCP-compatible AI clients through the Prometiam Risk API. Its 36 tools support company discovery, identifier-based lookups, detailed profiles, annual financial information, corporate-event research, people searches, cross-directorship analysis, sanctions screening, public-procurement awards, and public-buyer risk scores.

Coverage spans European jurisdictions including Spain, France, the UK, Ireland, Poland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Croatia, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Latvia, Cyprus, Romania, Lithuania, Germany, and the Czech Republic. It also includes selected data from Canada, Australia, Japan, Israel, Singapore, Colombia, Taiwan, Brazil, Argentina, Ukraine, and the United States, including state registers, SEC EDGAR, and GLEIF where applicable.

How it works

An MCP client invokes native tools that wrap endpoints from the Prometiam Risk API. Company searches accept country-specific identifiers such as Spanish NIF, French SIREN or SIRET, UK company numbers, LEIs, VAT numbers, and other national registration numbers. A Prometiam ID can then be used to retrieve a fuller company profile, event history, or financial data.

Corporate research can combine normalized event searches with chronological timelines and individual event records containing before-and-after values and source notices. People tools find officers, directors, and shareholders by name, while person profiles show appointment history across companies. The directors-network tool identifies people appointed to multiple companies and supports nominee or hub analysis in Spain.

Sanctions screening uses trigram-fuzzy matching against more than 44,000 active designations. The dataset includes six sanctions lists and 11 US export-control lists, with daily refreshes. Screening can also request a beta politically exposed person block for national politicians in Spain.

Tools and capabilities

• Search companies by name, national identifier, VAT number, LEI, or company number.
• Retrieve profiles containing officers, registry coordinates, capital, status, and selected Spanish tax-debt or debarment signals.
• Query annual statements and standardized financial measures in filing currency and, where available, euros.
• Search, timeline, and inspect corporate events such as director changes, capital changes, mergers, dissolutions, and insolvency.
• Find people across registries and inspect their company appointments.
• Screen names against sanctions lists and retrieve sanctions-entity details or list changes.
• Research public-procurement awards in Spain, France, the UK, Ireland, Poland, and Norway.
• Access public-buyer risk scores for Spain and France.

Limitations and notes

Financial coverage is source-dependent. Some countries provide full statements, while others expose headline figures, listed-company filings, tax records, or only digitally filed accounts. Several datasets have restrictions such as limited fiscal-year ranges, delayed filings, excluded banks or nonprofits, or country-specific availability flags. French accounts may be unavailable when companies mark them confidential, and Polish listed-company reports can arrive more than a year late.

The financial API applies plan-based limits: Starter, Professional, and free-trial keys receive 10 calls per month, while full financial access begins at the Scale plan and above. Sanctions data is refreshed daily, but screening results should be interpreted with the supplied list and entity details. Some source datasets carry attribution, open-data, or share-alike licensing conditions, including records from Estonia, Latvia, Romania, Colombia, Brazil, Australia, and Finland.
