What Polish Company Financials MCP server does
Polish Company Financials MCP server gives AI agents read-only access to financial information from Polish company filings held in the KRS. The service is hosted by Compabase and is intended for queries about company performance, rankings, liabilities, and comparisons rather than data modification.
The available data supports multi-year analysis. An agent can retrieve complete financial statements for a selected fiscal year, inspect headline figures for a company, or compare a business with others in its industry, region, or the country. The service fits the Finance & Fintech category for workflows that need structured Polish company financial data.
How it works
The server uses Streamable HTTP at https://compabase.com/api/mcp/financials. An MCP-compatible client sends tool requests to that endpoint and receives results for company searches, financial statements, rankings, and benchmarks.
Authentication can use Compabase OAuth in clients that support it. Alternatively, create a Compabase MCP key and send it as a bearer token in the Authorization header or append it as an apiKey query parameter. Requests count toward the user’s Compabase plan.
Setup and configuration
Add the remote endpoint as a custom MCP connection in a supported client. Claude can use a custom connector, while Cursor, VS Code, and Windsurf can define the endpoint in mcp.json with an authorization header. Gemini CLI supports installation from the project repository and requests a Compabase MCP key during setup. The documentation also provides connection guides for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Le Chat, Perplexity, Cursor, VS Code, and Claude Code.
A bearer-token configuration uses the following structure:
{
"mcpServers": {
"polish-company-financials": {
"url": "https://compabase.com/api/mcp/financials",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer mcpk_YOUR_KEY"
}
}
}
}
Tools and capabilities
Polish Company Financials MCP server exposes tools for:
- Filtering companies by revenue, profit, assets, EBITDA, PKD, and region.
- Counting companies that match those filters.
- Retrieving full financial statements by fiscal year.
- Finding revenue rankings across an industry, region, or country.
- Reviewing sector and regional financial benchmarks.
- Getting headline company figures and secured liabilities.
Example questions include finding the largest software companies in Gdańsk by revenue, reviewing Orlen’s revenue and net profit over three years, or comparing a company’s margin with its industry.
Limitations and notes
The endpoint is read-only, so it does not support changing company records or filing data. Access requires either supported OAuth authentication or a Compabase MCP key. Query usage is subject to the Compabase plan. The service focuses on Polish company information from KRS filings and does not claim to provide broader international financial coverage.
