What Paziresh24 MCP server does
The Paziresh24 MCP server connects an AI agent to read-only information from Paziresh24, an Iranian doctor and appointment platform. It supports Persian and English search terms and returns compact JSON. Results cover doctors, hospitals, clinics, services, appointment availability, prices, patient reviews, insurance information, and official booking FAQs.
Search can be narrowed by city, specialty, name, online-visit availability, gender, degree, and other supported filters. Agents can also resolve a Paziresh24 URL into a doctor or center slug before requesting more details. Prices are returned in Toman, while dates use Gregorian YYYY-MM-DD values and times use Tehran local time.
How it works
The server runs on the user’s machine and communicates with an MCP client through stdio. It then makes HTTPS requests to public Paziresh24 endpoints used for search, profiles, availability, reviews, holidays, insurance, and FAQ content. There is no hosted intermediary, login, or API key requirement described in the project materials.
A typical workflow starts with pz_suggest to turn a Persian or English term into city and specialty slugs. The agent can pass those values to pz_search_doctors, inspect a result with pz_doctor, and then use the returned center and service identifiers with availability or pricing tools. The profile URL can be given to the user for booking on Paziresh24.
Tools and capabilities
The Paziresh24 MCP server exposes 12 tools, each beginning with pz_:
pz_suggest returns city slugs, specialty slugs, and search completions.
pz_search_doctors finds doctors, hospitals, and clinics with filtering, sorting, and paging.
pz_resolve_url extracts a doctor or center slug from a Paziresh24 link.
pz_center provides center contact details, departments, and associated doctors.
pz_doctor returns profile details, specialties, ratings, services, prices, insurance, centers, online-visit information, and weekly hours.
pz_first_available, pz_free_days, and pz_free_slots cover earliest appointments, available dates, and times within a date range.
pz_reviews returns paged reviews, rating averages, and waiting-time information by center.
pz_visit_price reports the fee, VAT, payable total, and cancellation-refund setting.
pz_holidays lists official Iranian holidays between two dates.
pz_faq retrieves Paziresh24 guidance about booking, cancellation, online visits, and refunds.
Setup and configuration
Python 3.10 or newer and uv are required for the documented quick start. Register the server with Claude Code using claude mcp add paziresh24 -- uvx paziresh24-mcp, or run uvx paziresh24-mcp directly for another standard stdio-compatible client. Installation through pip install paziresh24-mcp is also documented.
Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code agent mode configuration examples are included in the README. The optional PAZIRESH24_MCP_PROXY environment variable sets an HTTP proxy for every request.
The Paziresh24 MCP server is read-only: it cannot log in, reserve a slot, book an appointment, process payment, or submit a review. Availability and prices can change, so returned scheduling data should be treated as current lookup information rather than a reservation.
