What the Pakistan SECP Company Registry MCP server does
The Pakistan SECP Company Registry MCP server gives an AI assistant access to company records sourced through The Company Atlas. The dataset covers about 150,000 companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). It is suited to basic registry checks, such as confirming that a Pakistani counterparty appears in the registry, identifying its company type, and checking when and where it was incorporated.
Each record includes a company name and CUIN. Most records include an incorporation date, while about 22% also include the date of the last annual return. The available records do not include addresses, company status, capital, directors, or shareholders.
How it works
The Pakistan SECP Company Registry MCP server is accessed at https://thecompanyatlas.com/mcp/pakistan over Streamable HTTP. The repository does not operate a separate local server. Add the endpoint as a custom MCP connector in an MCP-compatible client and authenticate with Google when prompted.
The Pakistan_search_companies tool requires at least one filter. Name searches accept a company-name substring of 3–160 characters. Other supported filters include entity type, SECP registration office, and an incorporation-date range using YYYY-MM-DD dates. Filters are combined with AND logic, so a request can narrow results across multiple fields. Results include data plus total, page, and limit values; the page size can be set up to 50 and defaults to 20.
The Pakistan_get_company tool retrieves one company by CUIN. The identifier can be supplied as a seven-digit value, without leading-zero removal concerns, and may include the PK prefix; examples include 0070670, 70670, and the prefixed form.
Setup and configuration
Open the custom MCP connector settings in Claude, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible client and enter the Streamable HTTP URL. Complete Google OAuth sign-in when requested. No repository-hosted process or environment variable configuration is described in the supplied material.
The service documentation is available at https://thecompanyatlas.com/tools/pakistan-secp-companies. Example requests include finding single-member companies registered in Peshawar during 2024, searching for “Textile” in company names, and looking up CUIN 0070670.

Limitations and notes
The Pakistan SECP Company Registry MCP server is focused on registry identity and incorporation information. It should not be treated as a source for addresses, status, capital, directors, shareholders, or complete annual-return coverage. Only about 22% of records include a last annual return date, and all but one record include an incorporation date according to the supplied description.
Search requests must include at least one filter, and combined filters use AND logic. The material does not describe a local installation path, API key configuration, or a separate server process. Authentication is handled through Google OAuth when connecting through the hosted MCP endpoint.
