A side-by-side look at the MCP Server and Tickstem MCP MCP servers: transport, auth, tools, quality signals, and the config to install either one in Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code.
Verdict: choose MCP Server for monitoring work as a local process; choose Tickstem MCP for monitoring as a local process. You can also run both side by side in one mcpServers block.
DEVHELM_API_TOKEN.list_monitors, get_monitor, create_monitor.TICKSTEM_API_KEY, TICKSTEM_BASE_URL.list_jobs, get_job, register_job.Rows where the two servers differ are marked.
