Tools

• kosis_stat_list({ parentListId, vwCd, _apiKey }) — walk the table directory one level at a time.
• kosis_search({ searchNm, orgId, startCount, resultCount, _apiKey }) — find tables by keyword; returns the orgId + tblId pair the data tool needs.
• kosis_stat_data({ orgId, tblId, itmId, objL1, objL2, prdSe, newEstPrdCnt, startPrdDe, endPrdDe, _apiKey }) — observations from one table.

Platform key (PLATFORM_KOSIS_KEY) with BYO override via ?_apiKey=. Free registration at https://kosis.kr/openapi/ — sign up, request OpenAPI access per service, key issued immediately (no manual approval step).

Traps

• KOSIS reports an invalid or missing key as HTTP 200 with a body of {"err":"11","errMsg":"유효하지않은 인증KEY입니다."}. Every status-code check reads that as success. This pack inspects err on a 200 and raises.
• prdSe must match what the table actually publishes. Asking a monthly table for "Y" returns zero observations with no error.
• Korean-language search terms match far more tables than English ones.
• The success payload is unverified — no fleet key exists. Field names come from the published parameter guide; every tool also returns raw, so a caller with a real key gets the untouched payload if a name here is stale.

What this endpoint actually serves

tools/list at https://gateway.pipeworx.io/kosis-kr/mcp returns the tools in the table above plus the shared Pipeworx meta-tools — ask_pipeworx, discover_tools, search_within, remember/recall and the rest of the gateway-wide set. So the tool count you see is larger than this table: a single-pack endpoint currently lists roughly 30 shared tools alongside the pack's own. The connection's initialize response states its exact scope, and is the authoritative answer for a given day.

This is deliberate, not multiplexing by accident. The meta-tools are what let a scoped connection answer a question this pack does not cover — via ask_pipeworx, which routes across the whole catalog — without you adding a second MCP server. There is currently no way to mount a pack endpoint without them; if the extra schemas cost you more context than the routing is worth, connect to the full gateway once rather than to several pack endpoints.

Both URLs reach the same gateway and the same 1683+ data sources. The only difference is which pack's tools are listed directly; ask_pipeworx reaches all of them from either one.

No MCP client? Call it over HTTP

This pack takes your own API key (_apiKey) — we don't front one for it, so there's no curl here that would run without it. Inspect any tool: GET https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/kosis_stat_list. Find one: POST https://gateway.pipeworx.io/v1/tools/search_packs with {"query":"..."}.

Standalone (no gateway account)
