A side-by-side look at the Speech.sh and Scrivener MCP MCP servers: transport, auth, tools, quality signals, and the config to install either one in Claude, Cursor, Windsurf or VS Code.
Verdict: choose Speech.sh for text-to-speech work over a hosted endpoint; choose Scrivener MCP for knowledge & memory as a local process. You can also run both side by side in one mcpServers block.
OPENAI_API_KEY, SPEECH_VOICE, SPEECH_SPEED, SPEECH_MODEL, SPEECH_API_URL.Rows where the two servers differ are marked.
