What Inclusify Accessibility MCP server does

Inclusify Accessibility MCP server gives an AI assistant access to accessibility data for websites registered in an Inclusify account. It can report a site's current position, identify issues, and provide strings that developers can search for in templates or source files. A site that has not been scanned does not receive an invented score; the tools report that no score is available.

The available checks cover keyboard and screen-reader behavior, forced-colour rendering, 400% zoom, and alt text. The server can also validate a proposed fix before deployment, provide a pass/fail result for a CI workflow, and help confirm the result against a later scan. The repository includes an optional skill named accessibility-fix-loop, which guides an agent through finding an issue, locating relevant source, validating the change, and checking a later scan.

Some product operations are also exposed. Depending on the account and plan, an assistant can work with the accessibility widget, its appearance and profiles, the accessibility statement, monitoring alerts, and findings sent to Jira or Slack.

How it works

The MCP service is hosted at https://app.inclusifyapp.com/api/mcp/customer; the repository contains installation manifests, a registry entry, and the skill rather than the server implementation. During the first connection, the client opens a browser for Inclusify sign-in or account creation. The client receives the basic profile and email address shown on the consent screen.

The website being investigated must already belong to the Inclusify account. Asking about an unregistered domain does not scan it and returns that no matching website is available. Inclusify Accessibility MCP server is therefore intended for authorized sites in the connected workspace.

Operations that can change data or settings require an additional confirmation call. The first response describes the proposed change and supplies a single-use token; no change occurs until that token is used. The account owner receives an email containing an undo link after a consequential operation.

Setup and configuration

Cursor can install the service through its MCP link or marketplace plugin. Claude Code can register the hosted endpoint with the HTTP transport, and Gemini CLI can install the GitHub repository as an extension. The repository can also be added as a Claude Code plugin marketplace to include the skill.

Other named integrations include Claude web and desktop, ChatGPT, VS Code, Windsurf, and Continue. Their configuration details use the same service URL, with the exact file and field names documented by Inclusify. No API key is required for the normal browser-based connection. An alternative plain-HTTP route uses a key emailed by Inclusify, including a flow where an assistant can create the account without a browser.

• Treat masked results as unresolved when content is hidden with techniques such as aria-hidden or display: none.

Limitations and notes

Plan entitlements affect the depth of the returned data. Account details, adding a website, status information, plan information, and widget state are available on every plan, including Free. Detailed site problems, page-loading checks, and full-site crawling require Pro. Account-wide rollups require Enterprise.

The service only addresses websites in the connected Inclusify account; it is not a general scanner for third-party domains. Live checks also have allowances defined by the server's current registry. Inclusify Accessibility MCP server cannot change plans, payment details, payouts, or charges; an upgrade produces a link for the user to complete independently.

The repository and skill are MIT-licensed, but the hosted MCP implementation is not open source. The Inclusify name and logo are Magebit trademarks.
