count_jobsHow many roles a search would return. Free, so your agent can narrow before it reads.
get_changesNew, updated, reopened and closed roles since your last check. The "what's new since yesterday" call.

Find your role first MCP server gives an AI agent access to job listings gathered from company career pages rather than an intermediate job board. The service covers more than 15,000 career sites, including boards based on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workday, as well as career pages for Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Netflix.
Listings record the role title, company, location, posting time, first-seen time, and links to the original job description and application page. The service checks sources every two to six hours. Because results include when a role was first observed, an agent can prioritize newly available positions and identify changes since a previous check.
The Find your role first MCP server exposes a remote HTTP MCP endpoint at https://findyourrolefirst.click/mcp. Requests authenticate with a bearer agent key issued through the service console. An MCP-compatible client can then call the job tools from an agent conversation or workflow.
search_jobs accepts multiple role titles and locations in one search. It can narrow results by remote status, age in hours, and the experience range requested by a posting, and returns the newest matches first. count_jobs lets an agent measure a search before requesting individual roles. get_changes reports new, updated, reopened, and closed roles since a prior check, which supports recurring morning searches.
The remaining tools support follow-up work. get_job returns the current details and status for one role, list_my_jobs shows roles already viewed during the current month, and get_usage reports the remaining allowance. Role records do not contain description text; the agent follows the supplied company link when it needs the full posting.
Create an agent key in the Find your role first account console, then configure the endpoint and send it as an Authorization: Bearer header. Claude Code can register the endpoint with its HTTP transport and user scope. Codex CLI can use the JOBFEED_API_KEY environment variable with its bearer-token configuration. Other HTTP MCP clients can use a server entry containing the endpoint and authorization header.
The README does not require a local process, package installation, or additional service credentials. It describes the Find your role first MCP server as usable with any MCP client that supports the HTTP connection shown in the configuration example.
The service has usage limits tied to its account plans. The free plan permits 200 searched roles during the first 30 days and 100 per month afterward. The paid plan costs $9 per month and provides 3,000 new roles monthly, with a daily limit of 1,000. Re-reading a role already seen that month does not consume another search allowance according to the README.
Results point back to company-owned postings, but the agent must open those links to read description content. The provided material does not claim that every company or career site is covered, and it directs users to contact support about missing companies. The accompanying agent skill can guide searches, daily checks, and application preparation, but it explicitly does not apply for the user.
