What fantasy-draft does

The fantasy-draft MCP server exposes eight read-only tools for preparing and making decisions during a 2026 fantasy football draft. Its data comes from a market-blended projection model that combines model output with consensus ADP. The service highlights both the overall board and disagreements between its estimates and the market.

You can retrieve a ranked board, find the best remaining players for a pick, inspect one player, compare several players, or ask for a single recommendation based on a roster and draft position. The tools also identify sleepers, busts, and platform-specific ADP gaps. Position filters, scoring formats, league presets, and roster targets help adapt results to a particular league. Bye-week stacking is flagged, and best-ball drafts use a ceiling-weighted tiebreak.

How it works

Connect an MCP-compatible client to the remote endpoint at https://predictionmarketspicks.com/api/mcp-draft/mcp. The client sends natural-language requests that are translated into calls to the available tools. For example, a request can include a pick number, drafted players, and the current roster so who_do_i_draft can weigh positional need against projected value.

The model uses public play-by-play data and consensus ADP, with backtesting against ADP over six seasons. Its rankings are not presented as guaranteed outcomes. The useful signal is often the difference between the blended board and consensus ADP, including the SLEEPER, BUST, and higher-conviction CONFIRMED-SLEEPER labels.

Setup and configuration

For Claude Code, register the endpoint with the HTTP transport:

Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, and Cursor can add the same URL as a custom connector or remote MCP server. Clients that accept JSON can use a streamable-http entry with the endpoint as its URL.

No account or API key is required for basic use. A free key can be obtained from https://predictionmarketspicks.com/mcp/key and sent as a bearer token. The service applies rate limits per IP. Platform presets include Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com, CBS, and Underdog, among others.

Tools and capabilities

• draft_board returns ranked players with projections, ADP, round, and sleeper or bust flags.
• best_available filters the board using the pick number and already-drafted players.
• player_outlook reports projection, floor, ceiling, boom or bust status, ADP, and the player read.
• explain_player describes the model rank, consensus ADP, blended rank, edge, and model scope.
• compare_players evaluates two to four players and gives a pick recommendation.
• sleepers_and_busts and adp_market_gaps expose model-versus-market differences.
• who_do_i_draft recommends one pick from a roster and pick number.

Limitations and notes

Free access has list limits: the board returns 12 players, best available returns three, and sleeper, bust, and ADP-gap lists are capped. A free key raises those limits, while Pro removes them and adds further reasoning and boom or bust details. Single-player lookups remain uncapped.

The fantasy-draft MCP server does not make picks, move money, or write to a league. Roster and drafted-player inputs are discarded after a request, although the service records its recommendations and the ADP used for them for later grading. The model is unaffiliated with the NFL and fantasy platforms, and its projections are estimates rather than guarantees.
