search_esimsSearch and compare plans. Filters: `country` (ISO code or name in any language) or `countries` (plans that work in all of them), `days`, `data_gb` / `max_data_gb`, `unlimited`, `data_type` (`daily` \
get_esimDetails of one plan: data, validity, coverage countries, hotspot, network, provider, local number, link.
compare_esimsCompare 2–5 plans side by side (ids from `search_esims`): price, data, validity, price per GB, coverage, network, hotspot, local number — and which has the lowest price, most data, longest validity and lowest price per GB.

esimoa — travel eSIM comparison MCP server exposes esimoa’s travel eSIM catalog to MCP-compatible AI clients. It supports destination-based searches, including ISO country codes, country names in different languages, and plans that cover several specified countries at once. Searches can also account for trip duration, total or daily data, unlimited data, budget, provider, coverage, network type, local phone numbers, hotspot support, and 5G.
The returned plans include links to their pages on esimoa.com, where a traveler can review and buy a selected plan. The MCP connection itself does not process payments, create orders, or access account information such as installed eSIMs, orders, or remaining data.
The hosted endpoint is available at https://api.esimoa.com/mcp and uses Streamable HTTP. No local server process, login, or API key is required for ordinary use. A client sends MCP tool calls to the endpoint and receives read-only results. Prices are represented in KRW, and responses can be provided in 13 supported languages through the lang option.
A typical workflow starts with search_esims, followed by get_esim for a closer look at one result. compare_esims accepts two to five plan IDs returned by a search and produces a side-by-side comparison. list_countries helps identify supported destinations, plan counts, and starting prices. The free-text search and document-fetch behavior supports natural-language requests, including terms such as “unlimited,” “daily,” “local network,” “hotspot,” and “5G.”
Add the remote MCP URL to a client that supports HTTP MCP connections. The generic configuration is:
Claude can use a custom connector, while Claude Code supports claude mcp add --transport http esimoa https://api.esimoa.com/mcp. Cursor and VS Code can add the endpoint as an HTTP MCP server. Gemini CLI provides a repository-based extension installation. Clients limited to stdio can use npx -y mcp-remote https://api.esimoa.com/mcp.
Partner integrations may send an X-API-Key header or append a partner key to the URL so links include a partner code. This is optional and is not needed for standard access.
search_esims: Filter and sort plans by destination, duration, data, price, provider, coverage, network, local number, hotspot, 5G, and multi-country support.get_esim: Retrieve a plan’s data allowance, validity, covered countries, network, provider, hotspot availability, local-number support, and link.compare_esims: Compare two to five selected plans and identify the lowest price, greatest data allowance, longest validity, and lowest price per GB.list_countries: Show destinations with plan counts and lowest prices.search and fetch: Search free text and retrieve documents in a ChatGPT deep-research format.Clients supporting MCP Apps may render search, detail, and comparison results as plan cards. The cards link to esimoa.com and do not make their own network requests.
esimoa — travel eSIM comparison MCP server is read-only. It cannot complete purchases or expose private account and usage data. Search and comparison results are plan information; purchasing takes place on the linked esimoa.com page. compare_esims requires plan IDs obtained from search_esims, and it supports no more than five plans at a time. Prices are shown in KRW. The repository contains configuration and registry files; the hosted service runs at api.esimoa.com.
