Publishes hierarchical DrillFlow diagrams from Mermaid or documents and reads them through MCP.

We haven't yet run this listing's install command through our automated sandbox check. This isn't a red flag β we're steadily working through the catalog.

Inspect callable tools, capabilities, and parameters exposed to AI agents by DrillFlow.
publish_diagramPublishes a DrillFlow document, returns the share URL.
publish_mermaidConverts a Mermaid flowchart (subgraphs β subflows) and publishes it.
read_diagramReads a published diagram back as its document β share URL, `@handle/name` address or slug.
The DrillFlow MCP server gives an MCP host tools for creating and retrieving DrillFlow diagrams. It supports two publishing paths: send an existing DrillFlow document with publish_diagram, or provide a Mermaid flowchart to publish_mermaid. The Mermaid conversion maps subgraph blocks to DrillFlow subflows, allowing readers to enter nested diagrams rather than viewing only a flat image.
read_diagram retrieves a published diagram as its document. The lookup can use a share URL, an @handle/name address, or a slug. Publishing returns a share URL that can be opened by anyone who has it, but the result is read-only.
The DrillFlow MCP server runs as an MCP process and communicates with the configured host. A host asks the server to publish or read a diagram through the exposed tools. For Mermaid input, the server performs the flowchart conversion before sending the resulting diagram to DrillFlow.
Publishing requires an explicit request from the host; diagrams are not sent merely because the server is configured. Once published, the resulting link is public to anyone who possesses it. This makes the server suitable for sharing architecture maps, process diagrams, or other material that benefits from nested navigation, provided the content is appropriate for a public read-only URL.
Run the package with Node.js 20 or later. The documented launch command uses npx -y drillflow-mcp, so an MCP host can start it without a separate build of this repository. Claude Desktop can add the command and environment variable in its MCP configuration, and Claude Code can register the same command with claude mcp add.
Set DRILLFLOW_API_URL to use a different API endpoint; it defaults to https://api.drillflow.de. DRILLFLOW_TOKEN is optional and comes from the API-token area of a DrillFlow account. Without a token, publishing is anonymous: the link has no owner, cannot be listed or revoked, and expires after 90 days. With a token, published links belong to the account, appear under its shared links, can be renamed or revoked, and do not expire according to the supplied documentation.
publish_diagram: publishes a DrillFlow document and returns its share URL.publish_mermaid: converts a Mermaid flowchart, including its subgraphs, and publishes the result.read_diagram: reads a published diagram by share URL, @handle/name address, or slug. The document format and JSON Schema are maintained by DrillFlow. The package also contains the Mermaid importer and document validator used by the application. This repository is the MCP server source, while the DrillFlow editor modules included in the npm package are closed-source components.
The DrillFlow MCP server is licensed under MIT for the server repository. That license does not cover the DrillFlow application itself.
