The service supports the rental discovery process rather than completing a transaction. An assistant can search by destination, travel dates, group size, budget, and amenities; inspect a listing; verify availability and indicative pricing; and prepare a message for the owner. The server does not process reservations or payments.

How it works

The service uses Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.chalet-montagne.com/mcp. It does not require an account or API key, although requests are rate-limited by IP address. A compatible MCP client connects to the endpoint and makes tool calls as the conversation requires.

A typical workflow starts with search_rentals, followed by get_rental_details for promising results. check_availability_and_price can then check a specific period and, where applicable, alternative periods. Results link back to the full listing on chalet-montagne.com.

The send_rental_inquiry tool is intended for direct communication with an owner. It forwards the traveller's message only after the user explicitly confirms the action. Availability and prices are indicative; the owner remains responsible for confirmation.

Setup and configuration

No local installation, credentials, or environment variables are required. Add the remote server to an MCP client using its Streamable HTTP URL. A generic configuration uses the following structure:

Claude users can add the endpoint as a custom connector or register it with the Claude MCP command.
