What the BetterPost MCP server does
BetterPost MCP server connects an MCP-compatible agent to BetterPost’s hosted content workflow. It researches timely material across news, social sources, and the open web, using a product and audience context to identify relevant sources. The resulting drafts are intended for newsletters, blog posts, LinkedIn updates, tweets, and Bluesky posts.
Generated content is grounded in the sources discovered during the research step. Citations and publication dates are included so an agent or editor can inspect the basis for a claim and judge how current it is. How it works
An MCP client connects to BetterPost over the Streamable HTTP endpoint at https://betterpost.ai/mcp. On first use, the client starts an OAuth 2.1 sign-in flow for a BetterPost account and manages the session. Users do not need to copy, create, or persist a separate access token.
After setup, an agent can be asked to write about what is happening in a particular product area or market. BetterPost creates a project, searches for recent material, ranks the results for relevance, and uses those sources while composing the requested format. New accounts receive free credits after registration, according to the repository documentation.
