Atom.com — Premium Domains MCP Server

An MCP server that lets AI agents search, appraise, trademark-screen, and buy premium brandable domain names from Atom.com — a curated premium domain marketplace and accredited domain registrar.

Domain search works anonymously — no account or API key needed to try it. Account-linked tools use OAuth: your agent opens an Atom.com login page, you approve, done. No client IDs or secrets to configure.

What it's for

Naming a startup, product, or company — get real, buyable names (with actual buy-now prices), not just ideas.
Checking a specific domain — available, taken, or premium-listed, with curated alternatives when it's taken.
Valuing a domain — appraisal with reasoning and comparable sales.
Screening trademarks — a preliminary conflict screen against public USPTO records before you fall in love with a name.
Buying — hand off a pre-filled Atom.com checkout link to complete the purchase on Atom.com.

`get_checkout_link`	Atom.com login	Pre-filled, authenticated Atom.com checkout URL so the user can complete payment on Atom.com. Charges nothing by itself.

All tools are read-only (readOnlyHint: true) — nothing on this surface spends money or mutates account state. Purchases always complete on Atom.com's own checkout.

When a tool needs authentication the client will open Atom.com's OAuth consent page — log in with (or create) your Atom.com account and approve. Dynamic client registration is supported, so no manual app setup is required.

Protocol details

Transport: Streamable HTTP (MCP spec 2025-03-26), JSON responses. SSE is not supported.
Auth: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; Atom.com is the authorization server. Protected-resource metadata at https://mcp.atom.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource (RFC 9728).
Rate limits: anonymous search is IP-rate-limited; authenticated tools are per-token. Limit responses are 429 with Retry-After.
