It can also be installed with pip install asalbanoo-mcp and run as asalbanoo-mcp. Claude Code can add it with claude mcp add asalbanoo -- uvx asalbanoo-mcp; Claude Desktop, Cursor, and VS Code can use the equivalent stdio configuration shown by the project.

No API key or account is needed. Set ASALBANOO_MCP_PROXY if requests to asalbanooshop.com must use an HTTP proxy.

Limitations and notes

The Asal Banoo MCP server is unofficial and read-only. It cannot purchase products, manage a cart, place orders, submit reviews, or authenticate a customer. Shipping fees are not available through the server because the shop shows them only at checkout. Availability, discounts, ratings, and prices may change on the source shop. Product-specific detail requests should use the product ID returned by ab_search or ab_browse.
