APICK AI MCP server connects AI agents to APICK, a Korean data and AI API platform. The full catalog contains 119 tools grouped into business, identity, conversion, web, vision, OCR, AI, finance, and reviewed Skills services. The available functions include Korean business and identity checks, document and image processing, web lookups, LLM calls, media generation, and financial verification.

The server is relevant for workflows that need Korean-specific data or identity processes rather than only generic text generation. How it works

APICK hosts the primary MCP service at https://apick.app/mcp/all. Separate endpoints are available for narrower groups such as business, identity, conversion, web, OCR, AI, finance, and vision. Connecting to a focused endpoint reduces the tool list available to the agent; the all endpoint exposes the complete catalog and the find_tools utility.

The service uses an API key in the Authorization: Bearer header for remote connections. The hosted service checks the key and any configured allowed IP when a tool is called. Listing tools works without a key, so clients can inspect the catalog before authentication. Some operations are asynchronous or have one-time result semantics. For example, media jobs may require separate status, result, subtitle, retry, or cancellation calls, and several data requests use request and retrieval tool pairs.

Setup and configuration

Sign up at APICK’s website and copy the license key from the dashboard. Remote MCP clients can connect directly to the hosted endpoint with the key in a request header. The README provides configurations for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and Cline.

Clients without remote MCP support can use the npm package as a zero-dependency stdio bridge on Node.js 18 or later:

An empty allowed-IP list permits unrestricted access. To restrict calls, register the public IPv4 address seen by APICK, either as an exact address or CIDR such as /32.

Limitations and notes

The service is focused on APICK’s available APIs and Korean data workflows; the README does not claim that every tool is free or available without an API key. Several tools process sensitive identity, financial, employment, or health information, so applications should handle returned data appropriately.

Tool behavior can include billing, one-time result consumption, and non-refundable cancellation.
