What AgentPay (all tools) does
AgentPay (all tools) provides one remote MCP endpoint for eight pay-per-call operations across the [Search & Data Extraction] category. The bundle combines web page extraction, DNS queries, WHOIS/RDAP lookups, IP ownership checks, domain reports, PDF text extraction, feed parsing, and sitemap discovery.
The web extraction tool accepts a URL and returns clean Markdown along with a title, metadata, Open Graph values, canonical URL, and links. Network tools can retrieve selected DNS record types, registration details, reverse DNS, network ownership, and a combined domain report covering registration, DNS, email provider, SPF/DMARC, and hosting information. Document tools turn a PDF URL into per-page text, normalize RSS, Atom, or JSON Feed entries, and collect URLs from sitemaps while following robots.txt and sitemap indexes.
How it works
AgentPay (all tools) is delivered over Streamable HTTP at the bundle MCP address: https://agentpay.agentpay-apis.workers.dev/mcp. Listing the available tools is free, while each invocation incurs the price of the underlying operation. The bundle includes extract_page, lookup_dns, lookup_whois, lookup_ip, lookup_domain_report, tools_pdf_text, tools_feed, and tools_sitemap.
Payments can use x402 with USDC on Base or Algorand. A compatible client supplies payment metadata with the MCP call. Alternatively, callers can send a prepaid credits key as a Bearer token. The service also offers a daily free trial key with $0.05 in credit per network. Invalid input is rejected before payment, and unsuccessful paid calls are refunded automatically. Listed prices range from $0.005 for page extraction, DNS, feeds, and sitemaps to $0.02 for a domain report; PDF text and WHOIS/IP lookups cost $0.01.
Setup and configuration
Add the remote MCP URL to a client that supports remote MCP, then provide an API key in the request headers if using prepaid credits. The README shows configurations for Cursor and Claude Desktop, and a claude mcp add --transport http command for Claude Code. The bundle URL can replace the separate extraction, lookup, and tools endpoints when all eight tools are needed.
For direct x402 usage, clients need a wallet configuration for a supported network. The repository includes a JavaScript example using an EVM private key for Base payments. A credits key can be obtained through the credits purchase endpoint and checked through the balance endpoint.
Limitations and notes
AgentPay (all tools) fetches web, PDF, feed, and sitemap URLs at request time, so results depend on the supplied URL and the remote source. PDF extraction accepts files up to 20 MB. DNS queries support A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, CAA, PTR, and SRV records. The service uses Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS, IANA RDAP bootstrap with authoritative registry servers, and regional internet registries. Payment settlement is tied to successful calls, but wallet funds or prepaid credits are still required for paid operations.
