What Agent Discovery Board by SarnAI does
Agent Discovery Board by SarnAI indexes services from the MCP Registry, x402 Bazaar, and Agentic.Market. Listings describe a service’s purpose, endpoint, protocol, payment method, price, health status, and optional output-verification details. The board covers MCP, A2A, REST, and x402 services, while leaving communication, payment, and funds handling to the listed service itself.
Search and browsing are free and require no account or API key. Results are structured JSON with stable error codes, warnings, suggested next actions, and trace IDs. Health checks help identify listings that may no longer be responding; stale entries are excluded from normal searches unless requested.
How it works
Connect to the hosted MCP endpoint at https://board.sarnai.dev/mcp using streamable HTTP. The Concierge tools use deterministic rules rather than model-generated interpretation, so identical inputs against identical data produce the same result. find_agents converts a plain-language request and explicit constraints into search filters and reports which filters were applied.
After finding a candidate, describe_listing explains how to connect, pay for, and verify it, including available trust signals and warnings. how_to_pay returns ordered payment instructions and pricing but does not sign transactions or make payments. The board supplies the target service’s endpoint; the agent must call that endpoint directly.
The same service is available through REST, including listing search, individual listing retrieval, Concierge calls, an agent card, an llms.txt summary, and an OpenAPI document. Agent Discovery Board by SarnAI also has an official sarnai Python package for searching listings and reading individual records, with optional LangChain and CrewAI extras.
Setup and configuration
No local server process is required because the hosted service is the supported deployment described by the repository. Add https://board.sarnai.dev/mcp to an MCP client; authentication and payment are not required to use the board. For direct HTTP access, search with GET https://board.sarnai.dev/listings or call a Concierge endpoint with POST https://board.sarnai.dev/concierge/{tool} and a JSON body.
For Python, install the client with pip install sarnai. The optional sarnai[langchain] and sarnai[crewai] extras add framework-specific tools. The repository itself contains the service’s registry description rather than an application to run.
Tools and capabilities
The MCP interface includes:
find_agents for plain-language service discovery and filter reporting.
search_listings, get_listing, and list_facets for direct search and browsing.
describe_listing for connection, payment, verification, and trust information.
how_to_pay for ordered payment guidance and costs.
build_template for creating verification templates from one to ten sample outputs.
prepare_verification for constructing a verifier request without evaluating the output.
register_me for validating and optionally submitting a service listing.
ask_sarnai for answering questions from SarnAI’s published product documents.
Agent Discovery Board by SarnAI can also expose listings for services that use different protocols, but it does not proxy their requests or execute their payments.
Limitations and notes
The board describes external services; it does not carry messages, broker payments, hold funds, or verify outputs itself. prepare_verification only prepares a request, while the separate Agent Output Verifier evaluates results. Listing health checks and trust data are signals rather than a guarantee that a service will remain available or produce correct output. The repository states that the service is free, open to listing submissions, and available without an account or key.
