## Documentation

## What the Yandex KIT MCP MCP server does

Yandex KIT MCP MCP server provides an assistant-facing interface for managing a Yandex KIT online store. It can read the store’s current state, report what was checked, identify areas that could not be verified, and carry out changes only when the request supplies an explicit command and the required values.

The repository describes four ready-made workflows:

- An operator review that prioritizes operational risks involving orders, money, reputation, catalog status, promotions, and webhooks.
- A catalog review that finds product-card problems and can apply requested corrections.
- A promotion workflow for creating, editing, and launching discounts, promo codes, and gifts from supplied conditions.
- A launch-readiness check that looks for blockers before the store starts accepting orders.

## How it works

The assistant accepts natural-language or, where supported by the client, voice requests. Read-only checks do not modify the store. Changes such as price and inventory updates require the user to state the intended values or provide a file containing them; the assistant is not expected to infer business values.

Separate skills cover orders, catalog data, promotions, store resources, and webhooks. Order operations include listing orders, checking payment statuses, producing CSV exports, returning payment links, and generating available handover documents. Catalog operations can inspect product information, match supplied inventory files by SKU, update prices or stock, and associate uploaded documents with products.

Results include the scope that was checked or changed. Incomplete results and unresolved matches are called out rather than presented as complete.

## Setup and configuration

Install the skills package from the repository with:

```bash
npx skills@latest add ztemerbekov/a1-yandex-kit-skills -y
```

Then explicitly run the `a1-yandex-kit-setup` skill in the selected application. The setup flow checks the environment and token, connects the store to the chosen application, and performs an initial request.

The package can also be installed through an application marketplace. For manual configuration, platform coverage, and troubleshooting, the repository directs users to `docs/INSTALLATION.md`. Run `npx skills update` later to retrieve package updates.

## Tools and capabilities

Yandex KIT MCP MCP server includes the following named skills:

- `a1-yandex-kit-operator`
- `a1-yandex-kit-catalog-doctor`
- `a1-yandex-kit-promo-launcher`
- `a1-yandex-kit-launch-check`
- `a1-yandex-kit-orders`
- `a1-yandex-kit-catalog`
- `a1-yandex-kit-promotions`
- `a1-yandex-kit-store`
- `a1-yandex-kit-webhooks`

Together, these skills support store reviews, product and inventory maintenance, promotion management, order reporting, payment-link retrieval, handover-document generation, webhook checks, and document attachment workflows.

## Limitations and notes

The README identifies the project as beta. A review can cover only the data available to the assistant, and every result should be read alongside its stated verification scope. Product or inventory files may contain rows that cannot be matched unambiguously.

Payment links are persistent and cannot be revoked, so they should not be posted publicly. Links to PDF handover documents expire; request the document again if a link no longer works. The repository names Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and OpenAI Codex as supported setup targets, while also referring to other applications.
