## What Świadectwo Energetyczne 24 MCP server does

Świadectwo Energetyczne 24 MCP server exposes the certificate-ordering workflow from swiadectwo-energetyczne24.pl to MCP-compatible AI clients. The service concerns energy performance certificates in Poland, known locally as świadectwo charakterystyki energetycznej. Its responses, form values, and user-facing messages are in Polish.

The tools cover both information and transaction steps. An assistant can retrieve property types, base prices, paid options, document types, and permitted values. It can also explain the offer, process, expected lead time, required documents, legal basis, frequently asked questions, and contact information.

For an actual order, the assistant can create an order, receive its identifier and one-time access token, determine which fields are still missing, fill in order data, and read the current order. Price calculation returns net, VAT, gross, and line-item amounts. Other tools create an upload URL for a photo or document, attach that file to the order, report order and payment status, and provide the page where the customer completes consents and payment.

## How it works

The npm package uses JSON-RPC 2.0 over stdio, with one message per line, and forwards calls over Streamable HTTP to the live service. Its default destination is `https://swiadectwo-energetyczne24.pl/api/mcp`. A client that supports Streamable HTTP can bypass the package and connect to that endpoint directly.

Each order has its own access token. `create_certificate_order` returns the token once, so an integration should retain it for later order operations; an `order_id` by itself does not provide access. The public endpoint does not require a token, although the package can send a bearer token if a different endpoint requires one.

## Setup and configuration

Świadectwo Energetyczne 24 MCP server requires Node.js 20 or newer and has no package dependencies. For Claude Code, install it with `claude mcp add swiadectwo-energetyczne24 -- npx -y swiadectwo-energetyczne24-mcp`. Other stdio clients can use an MCP configuration with `npx` as the command and `-y swiadectwo-energetyczne24-mcp` as its arguments.

The optional `SE24_MCP_URL` variable changes the forwarding endpoint. `SE24_MCP_TOKEN` supplies a bearer token when the selected endpoint requires authentication; the public default does not. Direct Streamable HTTP configuration uses the service URL and needs no token.

## Limitations and notes

Legal consents and payment are completed by a person on the service website. The server does not collect card details or accept those consents. The package is a forwarding client, so available tools, schemas, questions, and prices come from the live service rather than being fixed in the npm package.

The public endpoint is rate-limited to 60 requests per 10 minutes per IP address. Preserve the one-time order token securely, and do not treat the order identifier as authorization. Uploaded files are handled through pre-signed upload URLs and then attached to the relevant order with the document tool.
