## Description
Look up World of Tanks statistics on the EU, NA and Asia servers: player ratings (WN8, WNX, win rate) and per-tank records, clans with their members, Stronghold and Clan Wars, tank specifications and mark thresholds, maps, server population and tournaments. Read-only remote server, no API key.

## What unicum.gg World of Tanks Stats does

The unicum.gg World of Tanks Stats MCP server exposes selected World of Tanks data through the Model Context Protocol. It is focused on read-only lookups across the EU, NA, and Asia servers. The available surface includes clan records, map information, map community ratings, and glossary content.

The broader unicum.gg service also publishes player and tank statistics, including WN7, WN8, WNX, win rates, per-tank records, specifications, and mark thresholds. The MCP tool set described here specifically covers clan, map, glossary, and related rating operations.

## How it works

The server runs remotely at `https://unicum.gg/api/mcp`. An MCP client sends tool requests to that endpoint and receives data from the unicum.gg service. No local checkout, database, or application process is needed for the hosted connection, and no API key is required.

The service is also listed in the official MCP Registry under `gg.unicum/wot-stats`. Its public API provides the underlying data, while the MCP endpoint makes API endpoints available as agent tools.

## Setup and configuration

Add the remote endpoint to an MCP client's server configuration:

The hosted setup requires no environment variables or credentials. After registering the URL, an MCP-compatible client can discover and call the available tools. The repository also contains a self-hostable application, but running that version involves a pnpm workspace, environment initialization, Wargaming application IDs, and a PostgreSQL database; those requirements apply to local development rather than the remote MCP connection.

Glossary tools support general glossary browsing, term lookup by slug, anchor retrieval, and glossary search.

## Limitations and notes

The MCP connection is read-only in its stated purpose, although the map rating tool set includes personal-rating operations exposed by the service. Results depend on the data available through unicum.gg and the selected World of Tanks region. The project is not affiliated with Wargaming.net. The repository is licensed under AGPL v3.
