## What SuperCMO does

SuperCMO coordinates an end-to-end marketing production workflow for AI agents. A product photo and a short or detailed brief can be turned into UGC videos, product advertisements, cartoon-style ads, product photography, voiceovers, and assembled campaign assets.

The agent remains involved as creative director. It can analyze the product, choose a format, cast an AI creator, write a script, propose a concept, and wait for approval before rendering. Changes can be made during the workflow instead of accepting a complete result without review.

Continuity is handled through storyboards and reference images. The workflow is designed to keep the same product and actor consistent across multiple shots, including videos built from several clips.

## How it works

The skills chain together several production stages:

1. Analyze a product photo or URL and gather product details and images.
2. Plan the campaign, script, shot list, and requested duration.
3. Generate reference images for the product and production.
4. Create video clips using the selected image and video models.
5. Add voiceover when requested and fit the script to the video length.
6. Trim, split, and stitch the output into a finished video file.

A single product image can be used to start an unboxing, review, try-on, demonstration, or other UGC concept. Longer videos are broken into shorter shots before the clips are rendered and combined. Each generation supports `dry_run`, which shows the request without making an API call.

## Setup and configuration

Install the skills with Node's package runner:

The installer can target detected hosts. For Cursor projects, use `--cursor --project-dir .` so the skills are installed in the project directory. The environment requires `uv` for the documented installation flow.

After installation, run the `supercmo-setup` skill or ask the agent to set up SuperCMO. Configuration supports two payment paths: provide your own model-provider keys, or sign in and pay per use through SuperCMO. The hosted SuperCMO option runs in a browser and removes local installation and key management.
