# StoriesIG Instagram MCP Server

Hosted [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server for public Instagram data.
Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any MCP client and your AI agent reads public
profiles, posts, reels, comments, likers, followers, live stories and highlights, and gets direct
video links in original quality.

- **Transport:** Streamable HTTP
- **Auth:** OAuth — a sign-in window opens the first time you connect

| `list_instagram_followers` | Followers of an account, paginated |
| `list_instagram_following` | Accounts an account follows, paginated |
| `list_instagram_stories` | Stories an account has live right now, with expiry time |
| `get_instagram_story` | One story by URL |
| `list_instagram_highlights` | Highlight collections and the stories saved inside them |

All tools are read-only and work with public content only.
