## Description
Who sponsors podcasts in each trade: recorded sponsor names, dates and promo codes.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **list_trades** — List every trade board (for example vacation rental, restaurant operations, legal practice) with its key, how many companies were recorded buying ads on its shows, and how many names are public. Use a key with get_trade_board.
- **get_trade_board** — Public sponsor names on one trade board, with how many shows each covers, the longest observed run and the last observed date, plus the shows on the board. Free boards show a sample of names.
- **search_sponsors** — Find companies with a public sponsorship page by domain or name (for example "squarespace" or "stayfi.com"). Returns up to 10 matches with their domains; pass a domain to get_sponsor.
- **get_sponsor** — One company's public sponsorship record: the shows it was observed on with first and last dates, the trade boards where its name is public, selected recorded offers and recorded promo codes.

## Documentation

## What SponsorBoard does

SponsorBoard gives MCP-compatible AI clients access to recorded podcast sponsorship information organized by trade. A trade board represents a business category, such as vacation rental, restaurant operations, or legal practice. Each board contains public sponsor names and the shows associated with that category.

The service is suited to research tasks involving podcast advertisers. An agent can discover which companies appear in a particular trade, check how broadly a company sponsors shows, review the dates when sponsorships were observed, and retrieve selected offers or promo codes recorded for that company.

## How it works

The server exposes four MCP tools. Start with `list_trades` to see available trade boards. Each result includes the board key, the number of companies recorded as buying ads on shows in that trade, and the number of sponsor names that are public.

Pass a board key to `get_trade_board` to retrieve public sponsor names for that trade. Results include the number of shows associated with each name, the longest observed sponsorship run, the most recent observed date, and the shows included on the board. Free boards return a sample of sponsor names rather than the full set.

To investigate a company, use `search_sponsors` with a name or domain. For example, a search can use `squarespace` or `stayfi.com`. The tool returns up to 10 matches and their domains. A returned domain can then be passed to `get_sponsor`, which provides the company's observed shows, first and last observation dates, trade boards where its name is public, selected recorded offers, and recorded promo codes.

## Tools and capabilities

- `list_trades`: Enumerate trade boards and show company and public-name counts.
- `get_trade_board`: Inspect public sponsors, show coverage, observed runs, dates, and board shows.
- `search_sponsors`: Find public sponsorship records by company name or domain, with up to 10 matches.
- `get_sponsor`: Retrieve one company's observed shows, dates, public trade boards, offers, and promo codes.

## Limitations and notes

SponsorBoard reports recorded observations rather than a complete history of every podcast advertisement. Its trade-board results focus on public sponsor names, and free boards provide only a sample. Company searches are limited to 10 matches per request. Sponsorship dates describe the first and last observed appearances, while offers and promo codes are limited to the selected records available for that company.
