## What sooperset/mcp-atlassian MCP server does

The sooperset/mcp-atlassian MCP server gives an MCP-compatible assistant access to Jira and Confluence operations. It supports Confluence Cloud, Confluence Server/Data Center version 6.0 or later, Jira Cloud, and Jira Server/Data Center version 8.14 or later.

## How it works

## Setup and configuration

The sooperset/mcp-atlassian MCP server can be installed or run with `uvx`, Docker, pip, or from source. The quick-start configuration adds the `mcp-atlassian` command to an MCP client and supplies Jira and Confluence URLs plus the relevant credentials.
