## Description
Search 5,000+ live empty leg flights, get charter estimates and booking links. Free, no API key.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **search_empty_legs** — Searches live empty leg flights by `origin`, `destination`, `departureDateFrom`, `departureDateTo`, `passengers` and `max_price` (USD), all optional. Returns up to 5 flights with route, departure time, whole-aircraft price (taxes and fees shown at checkout), aircraft, seats, amenities, `flightId` a…
- **get_flight** — Re-reads one flight by `flightId`, or says it is no longer available.
- **booking_handoff** — Returns the SkyAccess booking page link for a `flightId`. It creates, holds or changes nothing; the traveler reviews and books on the page.
- **get_charter_estimate** — Returns an indicative USD price range per aircraft category, with flight time, for a charter from `origin` to `destination` (optional `passengers` and `aircraftCategory`).
- **request_booking** — Sends the traveler's name, email and trip details (`origin`, `destination`, `departureDate`, `passengers`, optional `notes`) to SkyAccess. A SkyAccess specialist follows up by email shortly to confirm availability and price. It takes no payment and creates no booking.

## Documentation

## What SkyAccess MCP server does

The SkyAccess MCP server gives an MCP-compatible assistant access to global private aviation inventory, with most listings in the United States. It can search more than 5,000 live empty-leg flights from a large network of certified charter operators. Search results can include routes, departure times, whole-aircraft prices, aircraft details, seat counts, amenities, flight IDs, and booking links. Prices and estimates are returned in USD.

The server also supports two paths beyond inventory search. An assistant can request an indicative charter price range by aircraft category, or collect a traveler’s details for follow-up from a SkyAccess specialist. The latter is an enquiry, not a completed reservation.

## How it works

SkyAccess MCP server is hosted at `https://mcp.skyaccess.com/mcp` and uses Streamable HTTP with stateless POST requests. No session identifier is issued, and clients do not need to authenticate. Responses can be plain JSON or an MCP Server-Sent Events message depending on the `Accept` header. Clients that support remote MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect directly.

The search accepts optional origin, destination, date range, passenger count, and maximum USD price filters, then returns up to five flights. A flight may have no published price; those results can still appear when a maximum price filter is supplied because the actual price is unknown. A later lookup can refresh a flight by ID and report when it is no longer available.

## Setup and configuration

To use the SkyAccess MCP server, add the hosted URL to a compatible client and leave authentication unset. Claude Desktop and claude.ai can add it as a custom connector. Cursor uses an MCP configuration entry with the endpoint URL, while Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and VS Code have documented installation commands or configuration formats. A local bridge is available in the repository for clients that only accept stdio connections.

The endpoint requires `Content-Type: application/json`. The server supports MCP protocol negotiation for several listed protocol versions. Tool calls are limited to 30 per 60 seconds per client IP, and booking enquiries have a separate limit of 10 per hour per client IP.

## Tools and capabilities

- `search_empty_legs`: Finds matching live empty-leg flights using optional route, date, passenger, and price criteria.
- `get_flight`: Refreshes one result by `flightId` and indicates if it has disappeared from inventory.
- `booking_handoff`: Produces the SkyAccess page where the traveler can review and book a selected flight.
- `get_charter_estimate`: Provides an indicative USD range and flight time for a route, optionally filtered by passenger count and aircraft category.
- `request_booking`: Sends a name, email, route, departure date, passenger count, and optional notes to SkyAccess for specialist follow-up.

## Limitations and notes

The SkyAccess MCP server does not accept payments. `booking_handoff` does not create, hold, or modify a booking, and `request_booking` creates no reservation; availability and final pricing require follow-up or review on the SkyAccess booking page. Taxes and fees for listed flights are shown at checkout rather than necessarily included in the displayed whole-aircraft price.

The four information-oriented tools are marked read-only. The enquiry tool is marked as not read-only because it sends traveler information to SkyAccess. Inventory coverage is global but concentrated in the United States, and all displayed prices and estimates use USD.
