## Description
Singapore ACRA (Bizfile) company search by name, UEN, SSIC industry code, entity type and status.

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **Singapore_search_companies** — Search ACRA-registered entities by name and/or filters. Filters are combined with AND logic; include at least one.
- **Singapore_get_company** — Full profile by UEN (e.g. `201316157E`): primary and secondary SSIC codes and descriptions, UEN issue date, address and former names.

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
No confirmed install details yet, so no config is published. Follow the setup steps in the repository above.

## Documentation

## What Singapore ACRA Company & UEN Lookup does

Singapore ACRA Company & UEN Lookup MCP server provides access to Singapore’s ACRA register through The Company Atlas. It is intended for researching companies, businesses, and LLPs recorded by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority, the organization behind Bizfile.

The server supports two registry workflows. You can search entities using a name substring and structured filters, or retrieve a fuller profile when you already have a company’s UEN. Returned information can include entity type, live status, UEN issue or registration date, address, postal code, primary and secondary SSIC codes with descriptions, and former names.

This belongs in the Search & Data Extraction category for assistants that need to identify Singapore entities or collect specific registry fields for further research.

## How it works

The repository does not run an independent data service. Instead, the MCP connection is hosted by The Company Atlas at:

The connection uses Streamable HTTP. Authentication is handled through Google OAuth; users sign in when connecting and remain authorized afterward. Add the URL as a custom MCP connector in Claude, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible client.

Search filters are combined with AND logic, so a request must include at least one search criterion. A search can use a name substring of 3–120 characters, an entity type substring, a two- to five-digit primary SSIC prefix, a six-digit postal code, live-status filtering, or a registration-date range. Results support pagination, with a maximum limit of 50 and a default limit of 20.

## Tools and capabilities

`Singapore_search_companies` searches ACRA-registered entities by name and supported filters. It is suitable for queries such as live private limited companies containing a term in their names, entities in an SSIC sector, or organizations registered within a date range.

`Singapore_get_company` retrieves a full profile using a UEN such as `201316157E`. The profile includes primary and secondary SSIC information, UEN issue date, address, and former names.

The Singapore ACRA Company & UEN Lookup MCP server uses the ACRA register as its stated data source. It can therefore support entity discovery and profile lookup, but the supplied material does not describe additional sources or operations such as filing retrieval, document downloads, or company-name reservation.

## Setup and configuration

Use an MCP client that supports a custom Streamable HTTP connector. Configure the Singapore endpoint, then complete Google sign-in when prompted. No server-side environment variables or local installation steps are specified in the provided material.

The documented connection URL is `https://thecompanyatlas.com/mcp/singapore`. The linked tool documentation is available at `https://thecompanyatlas.com/tools/singapore-acra`.

## Limitations and notes

Search requires at least one criterion, and supplied filters are evaluated together rather than as alternatives. The search tool limits a page to 50 results, with 20 results by default. Name queries must be between 3 and 120 characters when used.

The Singapore ACRA Company & UEN Lookup MCP server is focused on ACRA-registered entities and the fields described above. The material does not specify freshness guarantees, bulk export, historical snapshots, or access to records outside the ACRA register. A UEN is used with the profile tool; it is not listed as a parameter for the company-search tool.
