# Rixot MCP Server

**Let your AI agent buy backlinks.** Rixot is an AI backlink marketplace — 50,000+ vetted, real-traffic domains, dofollow editorial placements from $1, live in ~24 hours. This MCP (Model Context Protocol) server exposes the whole marketplace as native tools, so **Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can find donor sites, order backlinks and publish them end-to-end** — not just read reports.

## Quick connect

### Claude (web / desktop)
1. **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector**
2. **Name:** `Rixot` · **Remote MCP server URL:** `https://ai.rixot.com/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY` · OAuth fields: leave empty
3. Add — the Rixot tools appear in your chat.

### ChatGPT (connectors / agent mode)
Add a remote MCP connector with the same URL: `https://ai.rixot.com/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY`.

### Cursor / other MCP clients
Point the client at `https://ai.rixot.com/mcp` and pass the key either in the URL (`?key=…`) or as a `Bearer` header.

| `check_balance` | Read your account balance (USD). |
| `list_donors` | Search 50,000+ vetted donor sites by niche, DR, price, traffic. |
| `get_article_prompt` | Fetch the editable article-generation brief (transparent prompt). |
| `order_backlink` | Order backlink(s) into your basket — **no charge yet**. Three content modes: **auto** (AI writes from your keyword), **prompt** (AI follows your edited brief), **own** (publish your ready HTML). |
| `get_basket` | Inspect drafted placements before paying. |
| `publish_basket` | Publish everything in the basket, paying from your balance. The **only** step that spends money. |
| `list_links` | Track every placement — status, indexing, published URL. |

**Safety model:** ordering never charges money. Funds are only spent by an explicit `publish_basket` call, and topping up the balance is dashboard-only — an agent can never overspend beyond the balance you pre-funded.

## Example: an agent buys a backlink

The agent will typically call:
1. `check_balance` → `{ "balance": 45.00 }`
2. `list_donors {"domain_filter":"saas","price_max":10}` → picks 3 relevant, real-traffic domains
3. `order_backlink {"donor_ids":[…],"target_url":"https://example.com/pricing","keyword":"best crm software"}` → articles drafted, basket total $30, **nothing charged**
4. `get_basket` → review
5. `publish_basket` → $30 paid from balance, links live in ~24h
6. `list_links` → published URLs + indexing status

## Content modes on `order_backlink`

| **prompt** | + `recommendations` (fetch the base brief via `get_article_prompt`, edit it) | AI writes to your brief; the output contract stays fixed so publishing can't break. |
| **own** | `content` (+ optional `title`, `article_url`) | Your ready HTML published as-is. |
