# Pryx MCP — buying advice for the French market

Remote [MCP](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server that lets an AI assistant tell its user **which appliance or electronics product to buy in France**, from a short guided questionnaire (budget + needs) and [Pryx](https://pryx.fr)'s catalogue of verified specs and live merchant prices.

- **Endpoint (Streamable HTTP):** `https://pryx.fr/mcp`
- Read-only · no API key · no user data collected
- 34 categories: ovens, washing machines, fridges, dishwashers, TVs, smartphones, laptops, headphones, vacuum cleaners, air fryers…
- Product names, verdicts and explanations are in French (French market); tool descriptions are in English.

## Tools

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| `pryx_categories` | Lists the product categories Pryx can advise on. Call it first. |
| `pryx_advice` | For one category: called without answers, returns the questions to ask the user; called with `budget` and `answers`, returns the verdict (recommended product, alternatives, why, current prices). When nothing separates the finalists it says so (`tied: true`) instead of electing a winner. |

## Example

> "I need an oven, budget around €650, I bake a lot and want pyrolytic cleaning."

The assistant calls `pryx_categories`, then `pryx_advice` with `category: "four"` to get the questions, then again with the budget and answers, and gets back a recommended model with its price and the reasons it wins.
