## Description
Fetch pages through your proxies, plus proxy lines, balance, usage and pricing for Proxmint

## Tools
Capabilities this server exposes over MCP:

- **get_pricing** — No
- **get_account** — Yes
- **get_usage** — Yes
- **generate_proxies** — Yes
- **check_connection** — Yes
- **fetch_url** — Yes

## Claude Desktop Quick Installation
Remote MCP endpoint (confidence: high). Install path detected from listing signals. Add as a URL/SSE server in your client:

```json
"mcpServers": {
  "proxmint": {
    "url": "https://proxmint.com/api/mcp"
  }
}
```

## Documentation

## What Proxmint MCP server does

Proxmint MCP server connects an MCP-compatible client to a Proxmint account and its proxy products. It can retrieve pricing without authentication, while account-specific operations use a read-only API key. The available account information includes balance, product status, bandwidth consumed and remaining, proxy host and ports, and the account username.

The server also provides proxy-oriented web access. An agent can generate HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy lines and choose targeting by country, state, city, ZIP code, or ASN. Session behavior can be rotating or sticky, with sticky durations from 1 to 120 minutes. For a direct connectivity check, the server reports the exit IP, the country detected by Cloudflare, and request duration.

## How it works

The hosted endpoint is `https://proxmint.com/api/mcp` and uses Streamable HTTP, so there is no local server package to install. Clients send the Proxmint API key as a Bearer authorization header. Keys are created in the Proxmint dashboard under Settings and begin with `pmk_`.

`fetch_url` sends a request through the selected Proxmint product and returns the HTTP status, final URL, page title, and either readable text or raw HTML. It follows up to five redirects, limits the response to 50,000 characters, does not execute JavaScript, and does not read binary files. The gateway rejects private addresses and ports that it does not forward.

`get_usage` reports gigabytes and requests by product for each day, covering up to 90 days and including totals. The account tools are subject to a limit of 60 requests per minute per IP. The server states that it retains nothing and does not log tool arguments, results, or keys.

## Setup and configuration

Add the hosted endpoint to the client and provide the authorization header. Claude Code can register it with an HTTP transport command. Cursor uses an MCP configuration entry containing the URL and headers. Claude Desktop can connect through `mcp-remote`, passing the Bearer value through an environment variable in the client configuration.

Keep the API key out of shared configuration files. `generate_proxies` returns the proxy password because a usable proxy line requires it. Revoke the key from Proxmint Settings if it is exposed.

## Tools and capabilities

The Proxmint MCP server exposes these operations:

- `get_pricing`: Returns pack sizes, prices, and price-per-GB information for supported product types.
- `get_account`: Shows balance, product status, bandwidth figures, host, ports, and username.
- `get_usage`: Provides daily request and bandwidth statistics for up to 90 days.
- `generate_proxies`: Creates targeted HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy lines with rotating or sticky sessions.
- `check_connection`: Makes one small request through a selected product and reports connection details.
- `fetch_url`: Retrieves a page through the selected product and returns text or raw HTML.

All operations are read-only from the account-management perspective. The server cannot purchase products, add funds, change targeting on an account, or rotate a password. The two traffic-generating tools consume bandwidth from the customer’s Proxmint product.
